Go somewhere else for your fertility needs. As many have mentioned here, CCRM feels more like a corporate factory than a specialized medical provider, they are set in their processes, don’t take time to be human when delivering difficult news, and seem unable to think creatively about possible paths forward other than IUI or IVF. I had to fight for answers constantly, frequently spoke with under qualified, seemingly untrained nurses, and was very unhappy with the lack of time or care that two different doctors put into our meetings together. It was only when I took a break from CCRM treatments that I got pregnant on my own, and I attribute that to the stress they put me through at every step.

Seeking fertility treatment is a very vulnerable and trying experience. I had a wonderful experience at CCRM with the best outcome - my daughter who was born this October (2024). Dr. Kondapalli and her team took such great care of me and my husband. Appointments were extremely efficient, the nurses and phlebotomists (who you will spend the most time with) are warm and helpful, and Dr. Kondapalli offered her expert care through each phase of the process, remaining direct and honest about my chances of success. I personally appreciated using the app to communicate with the staff. They were extremely responsive to my messages, and it was always helpful to have a record of responses (eg reminder about my medication doses) if I had any questions or concerns. I was lucky to have Progyny coverage provided by my employer to help with the costs. Using Progyny, in addition to my regular insurance, made for a seamless financial experience, as well. I’m so grateful to have had access to some of the best fertility medical treatment in the country.

It’s honestly hard to put into words how frustrating our experience with CCRM has been. Over the past few years, we’ve dealt with so many issues—billing problems, insurance mishandling, and poor communication—it’s clear that the company cares more about making money than taking care of their patients. The billing process has been a constant headache. We’re regularly overcharged, and then it takes months of back-and-forth to get refunds. They’ll bill as if you don’t even have insurance, and they always wait until the very last minute to submit prior authorizations, even though our insurance company recommends doing it much earlier. Currently in a battle because they completely forgot to submit the most recent pre-auth and are instead just billing us as self pay acting as if this is out fault for their mistake. Communication isn’t any better. Everything goes through their app, which is more of an advertising platform than a tool for patient care. Half the time, it feels like we’re wading through spam just to find important information. I’ve tried giving feedback on ways they could improve, but they don’t seem interested. I’ve been told outright that their policies can’t be changed, which is disappointing when you’re just trying to make things better for yourself and other patients. For a clinic that’s supposed to be so specialized, it’s shocking how poorly they handle the basics. If you’re considering CCRM, I’d strongly recommend looking at other options first.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and physicians here, but FYI for others considering fertility facilities: CCRM's Labs do not currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. This results in approximately $20,000 out of pocket for labs per IVF cycle. Posted February 2025. Hopefully they change this in the future!

At least after looking at the other reviews I don't feel so alone, but really sad to see that CCRM is scamming so many people with fertility issues. Went to my initial consultation (which lasted maybe 15 minutes), and the doctor was so cold and made me feel horrible to the point where I was fighting back tears and couldn't wait to leave the room, reconsidering even trying to conceive at all after her initial words. I paid for the appointment in full ($375), as they said they would send out to insurance and reimburse me if it was covered. Well when my insurance did cover most of the appointment and I only owed $60, I was then charged the $60 on top of the original in full payment. When I called to get a refund since I was essentially charged twice for one appointment, I got the run around for 3 weeks before finally reaching out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Their billing department is supposedly open from 8-4, however calling every twenty minutes from 8am on, I finally reached a human around 10:40. But good luck getting someone on the phone after 12pm. Every time I call they say "we can write down your information and get back to you" but no one EVER calls back. I'll bet I've left 10+ voicemails, and left my name and number with the front desk 5+ times, but here we are 3 weeks later and no one has followed up. So essentially I was charged $435 for a $60 appointment that only lasted 15 minutes, with no help getting my money back. This whole thing is a total scam, go elsewhere for your fertility needs!
