Boston IVF – The NH Center

They are only getting two stars because the first experience I had was great, this time not so much. Everything is a struggle and a problem nobody knows anything they definitely don’t know who you are (which yes I don’t expect VIP treatment everywhere I go but at least familiarity of who and what is going on shared across the entire care team would be helpful considering you have to talk to 40 people to get anything done) I’m only even writing this review because this is the 3rd time (since returning as a patient) from different staff members I have felt I’ve been treated rudely just when having a normal interaction for no reason, and officially complaining does nothing for anyone and I’ve been having such bad experiences I felt the need to share so other people in the situation don’t have to struggle as much. I feel so trapped, I can’t go elsewhere without it being astronomically expensive because of my insurance and yet I’m starting to feel they do not care nearly as much about returning patients as they did when we did this the first time. Really makes the whole “can’t get pregnant without medical assistance” situation even more stressful, exhausting, and infuriating than before too.

They did not offer or do in depth testing to find the reason for my infertility outside of their standard tests. When I got spontaneously pregnant, I was told I could call if it doesn’t work out.

We recently welcomed our healthy baby boy following a successful transfer with Boston IVF, and we are incredibly grateful for the care we received throughout the entire process. We wanted to pass along our appreciation and gratitude to the entire team. Especially the phlebotomists for being kind and quick during those repetitive early morning blood draws, the ultrasound techs who would take such great care and respect during a vulnerable time, the nurses who were so communicative and knowledgeable and Dr. Wright for the plan of action for all the cycles and Dr. Nesbit who performed my egg retrieval and transfer that gave us our son. We are so thankful for the support and care we received, and it’s reassuring to know this team will be there if we decide to grow our family in the future. Highly recommend to anyone navigating fertility treatment.

The lack of communication, mistakes in medications led to many failed checkpoints leaving a concern for my care here. It was brought to the attention of management in which I was assured there would be a resolution for my case and management would reach out to me directly. It's been months and I have not received answers or even an apology from this facility. The amount of money wasted to be just another number in the IFV journey is discouraging. Working in healthcare for over 20 years I take great pride in giving my patients what I would like to call exceptional care. I would never treat a patient the way I was treated especially during these challening times. I paid for a service and did not receive it. The continuous mistakes impacted our ability to start a family and left us with such disbelief and lots of money wasted. Please do your research!

We struggled for 12 years to achieve a healthy pregnancy. Dr. Wright and the entire Boston IVF team were amazing from start to finish. We finally welcomed a healthy and happy baby girl this Summer. Highly recommend this office. Good luck to all prospective parents. Our only advice....be open to every option available to you...it doesn't matter how you get there ..but you CAN get there.
