I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Norian and his staff. I was referred to this office by my insurance, HRC received an authorization for me to be seen and called me to schedule my appointment. I was excited to finally be seeing a fertility specialist after almost two years of TTC, only to be very let down. Front desk was pleasant, no issues there, but when Dr. Norian brought me back, it felt very rushed, I went from one room where I watched a powerpoint of what fertility treatments could potentially be offered, which was fine, felt a little cold... but was fine. Then to another room for an ultrasound, where while the ultrasound was in process, Dr. Norians phone rang not once loudly, but twice, he dismissed the call while he was performing the ultrasound... and ran through some results... from there, another room, while waiting, I could hear his phone ringing again, and could hear him yelling at the person over the phone, just felt extremely unprofessional... when he finally came into the room, he sat down and told me IVF would be my only options, I was in shock, he didn't have my results, no AMH level, no sperm analysis from my husband, yet he came up with this conclusion based on "Age", I had just turned 32... and follicle count... which I had googled while waiting for him and it said that was a good count.. I was confused and in tears.. he left the room without explaining much else and sent his Financial Care Specialist | Office Lead, Dianna Thorbjornsen to discuss my payment options for IVF... it was all happening so fast I felt very taken aback. When she came in, she said that she didn't even have authorization on file for me to be seen that day... I explained to her they were the ones that called me when they received it from my insurance and she had no idea what I was talking about.. We left the conversation at she would give me a call to discuss payment when she contacts my insurance.. well a week went by, I called, she said she had no information and to call back in another week... I did, still nothing. I finally decided to give up on this clinic and seek a second opinion that I had today. WOW what a difference. My new fertility doctor gave me so many more options than IVF, ordred labs ahead of time, made sure she took time with me.... All this to say, do your research, if you can pay out of pocket to see someone that actually cares, please do so.

This review is long overdue as my wife and I attended a consultation in 2024 with Dr. Norian. Following our consultation we felt his bedside manner and overall demeanor did not align with what my wife and I were looking for. Furthermore, the office staff were not helpful in explaining policy, cost, and procedure. The whole experience felt impersonal, rushed, and like we were just another paycheck or patient. Ultimately, we ended up signing a contract with a different fertility clinic and we are currently pregnant with our first baby! IVF and infertility is a long, stressful, confusing, and frustrating process so it’s highly important that the clinic you chose supports, educates, guides, and tailors their care to specific patient populations and patients needs. After going through the entire reciprocal IVF process through a different clinic we realized how many things were not even mentioned or addressed during our consult with HRC fertility and we didn’t even realize it until we went somewhere else and could compare the experiences we had between the two clinics. For example, it was never mentioned by Dr. Norian once that my wife would be the one undergoing treatment and/or egg retrieval since we wanted to use her egg and transfer it to me (we made this abundantly clear) but then the doctor ends up doing a transvaginal ultrasound on me and checking my follicle count when he really should have been checking my wife since it was her eggs we wanted to take out. The entire process was so impersonal and not tailored to specific patient needs (like he was reading from a script and there was no deviating from that) which we all know isn’t the case for healthcare as every patient has different needs. Then he proceeds to tell my wife and I that we need to schedule another consult to check her follicle count therefore having to pay again. We were very new at the time to fertility clinics and the entire IVF process so we had no idea how it was supposed to go either. HRC fertility clearly only cares about their bottom dollar at the end of the day and we felt that when we left. My wife and I would never recommend or refer HRC fertility to ANYONE. Do your homework and I recommend attending a few different consults at other clinics before you sign any contract anywhere! Best of luck to those seeking their miracle babies 🩷🎀🌈🍼

We came to this clinic because it was a great option to our location and insurance option. However the experience is getting bad as we go along. We have insurance through work and it seems that this procedures are covered because I called insurance before starting process, we had testing done and then changed our insurance however we were told we could still go here through the program they use called WIN. I've tried contacting the office to see what is next and now its like they dont want us to come here. I keep getting the run around with no further success, Diana was supposed to contact me and as of now no call. I called the office they said to email Diana our insurance card amd she would contact us and I did, I emailed her our insurance card and all I keep getting is a question of "do you have a referal?" I was informed their office would request anything needed from insurance or I would be contacted if I needed to do anything else. I think this is so unprofessional as I myself have worked for Dr. offices and understand the importance of communication with patients. It seems that either this office has enough patients and they dont care for new ones or they pick and chose who they want to have as their successful patients.

I am a second time surrogate who has had amazing luck with my california baby surrogacy team and Dr Wilcox here at HRC for both rounds of my surrogacy journeys. My agency team has held my hand every step of the way and made this process so seamless from beginning to end. I feel as though I have chosen an amazing agency to work. There are many people who will help and guide you throughout this process and every single one is so knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind, selfless, and helpful. It truly feels like they all have become my family. I am very lucky to work along side california baby surrogacy and all the wonderful people who run it.

Michelle is fantastic she’s been there forever and is so kind and answers your questions. She’s there all hours of the day. She deserves a RAISE. She is so amazing and I’m so happy that she’s my nurse. I’m coming back for a third time because I’ve had such a positive experience because of her and Dr. norian. I never feel rushed she always takes her time to answer my questions and make sure I understand the medications I love her so much. Michelle needs a raise !
