I called both numbers for this office and honestly, the level of laziness and incompetence from the front desk staff was shocking. I asked a basic question: do you take Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO? Instead of actually checking, the immediate answer was NO. I then called the OC location and spoke to Denise, who also sounded annoyed that she even had to do her job. When I questioned the answer, her tone turned condescending and defensive, saying… even if we do, we’re not sure if you have coverage. Let’s be serious, nobody randomly calls a specialist office without already knowing their insurance likely applies. Patients are not asking staff to solve world hunger. We are asking them to verify insurance, which is literally part of the job description. Dr. Kushnir, if you are wondering why potential new patients leave before even booking, this is exactly why. Your front desk acts like every phone call is an inconvenience. And if they cannot handle a simple insurance verification without attitude and resistance, it raises major concerns about how disorganized billing and claims must be once treatment actually starts. Your office didn’t lose a patient because of insurance. You lost one because your staff made the entire experience feel like dealing with DMV employees on their last day.

I had a great experience at this clinic and highly recommend their team. Dr. Perkins is very knowledgeable, always taking the time to ensure I felt comfortable and informed about my care. A special thanks to Lupe, my cycle coordinator. She is organized, responsive, and made the entire process feel seamless and manageable. I felt truly supported throughout my time here.

We are deeply grateful for Anna, Tara, Michelle, and Dr. Perkins. When we began our IVF journey, we felt overwhelmed and uncertain, but meeting the team helped us feel comfortable and hopeful on this journey. As the cycle began, I was nervous, but Anna offered both encouragement and was realistic on how I was responding to the medications. Anna was always supportive, answering my emails and responding to my calls. On the day of the retrieval, Michelle and Tara were so kind in the operating room, helping me stay calm during a stressful moment. Dr. Perkins checked in with me before the procedure, which made me feel like I mattered. The waiting period after the transfer was challenging, but when we received the positive result, it was wonderful to see how excited and supportive Anna, Tara, Michelle, and Dr. Perkins were for us. We truly feel that the West Coast Fertility team cares deeply and treats patients with warmth and respect. That human touch made all the difference for us. I would highly recommend this place for IVF treatment. Dr. Kushnir and his team are amazing. My experience in WCFC is so smooth, I feel supportive and caring during the whole IVF process. Dr. Kushnir is knowledgeable, he always assured me my questions were answered before each step. Annie and Cindy coordinated the scheduling and gave me thorough instructions for medicine. Beth provided us valuable tips on injection and postoperative care. My husband and I are grateful to the whole WCFC team.

After going to at least three other fertility clinics, I can confidently say this is the place to go if you truly want to get pregnant. Dr. Kushnir is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and straightforward—he explains every step and tailors treatment to your individual needs. Dr. Perkins, who performed my embryo transfer, was so gentle, reassuring, and supportive throughout the process. The nurses, medical assistants, and the entire staff are absolutely amazing—professional, compassionate, and genuinely invested in every patient’s success. From scheduling to follow-up, everything runs smoothly, and you always feel cared for and encouraged. If you’re on a fertility journey, West Coast Fertility is truly the best of the best.
