Veritas Fertility and Surgery

Dr. Puthoff and his team are amazing people. They provide such a welcoming and comforting environment especially for people who travel to receive care from them. Vickie and Katie were so sweet and genuine. Dr. Puthoff restored my fertility and provided a better quality of life. I didn’t know if there would be a time where I wouldn’t have pain in my arm, chest, or abdomen. He performed a miracle for the reproductive organs I had remaining. He also removed endo lesions from my diaphragm. I am so grateful to Dr. Puthoff and his passion to help women with endometriosis and other infertility diseases!

After navigating a long infertility journey that included large fibroids, a myomectomy, extensive lab work, an HSG, and more, I was devastated to learn that both of my fallopian tubes were blocked. I was told by another physician that IVF was my only option. Walking into Veritas Fertility was the first time I felt genuine hope and we could move forward preserving my natural fertility. While Dr. Puthoff had a waitlist, I was able to get in quickly with Jeanette Trn, NP, whose availability for an initial appointment aligned perfectly with my cycle. From there, the Veritas Fertility providers moved efficiently and intentionally. We followed my consultation with a diagnostic ultrasound, a selective salpingography, and a series of follicle ultrasounds, all carefully timed to my cycle. What stood out most was that Veritas was focused on identifying and treating the underlying causes of infertility rather than simply bypassing them. For the first time, I felt like I had a team looking for answers and a path forward. I also cannot say enough good things about the people who make Veritas so special. Vickie at the front desk is a bright, positive light the moment you walk through the door. Her kindness contributes to the feeling of hope that fills the office. Catie, who performed my ultrasounds, is absolutely wonderful. She somehow manages to make every ultrasound enjoyable and brings positivity and encouragement to every appointment. She made me smile during every ultrasound. The nurses are incredible as well. They are kind, responsive, and always willing to answer questions. Fertility treatment can feel overwhelming, but I always felt supported. My selective salpingography was performed by Dr. Kalinowski, who was professional, compassionate, and exceptionally skilled. She successfully cleared my tubes and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. And then something incredible happened: we conceived that very cycle. (I still can’t believe it.) After we found out, I spoke with Jeanette and had an appointment with Lindsay as well. They were knowledgeable and kind and helped me with my progesterone levels and my next steps. And I think they were quite possibly as excited as me. Today, I am pregnant with the baby we prayed for, and I am so grateful for the care I received at Veritas. Their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to treating the root causes of infertility changed the course of our story. Looking back, I can clearly see God’s hand throughout this journey. Veritas gave me something I desperately needed when I walked through their doors: hope and faith. If you’ve been told you’re out of options or IVF is your only option, don’t give up. Veritas may be exactly the place you need.

Incredible experience with Dr. Kalinowski and the team at Veritas!! Every single interaction from phone calls to our visit has been so caring, helpful, & kind. My husband and I have been working with Dr. Kalinowski at Veritas for the last month and what a great experience we have had! During our consult, we felt so heard and our concerns validated. We drove down recently from out of state so I could have a laparoscopic procedure done to address a C-section scar defect (Isthmocele). It was the best medical experience I have ever had. We were treated with such compassion and care. After being dismissed for two plus years by my OB and fertility specialist and “encouraged” to do IVF due to unexplained secondary infertility, it was truly a breath of fresh air to be able to work with a doctor who listens, wants to find root cause and cares about your health and outcome. We are endlessly grateful for Dr. K and all the staff who helped us get set up - we will forever recommend Veritas.

Dr. Kalinowski is absolutely fantastic! She is a caring, compassionate physician who is truly gifted at what she does. I completed my initial consult with her online as I live out of state, and she helped my husband and I to feel comfortable even over video. I have now completed multiple tests with her in office, and she was even more thorough and efficient in person. I am now awaiting surgery with her. Though the office is very busy, they are responsive to messages and have answered all my questions with skill and kindness. I highly recommend this practice for fertility issues of any kind!
