I want to start by saying that Dr. Patel was extremely caring, professional, and thorough during my visit. She took the time to explain all the possible procedures in detail, listened carefully to my concerns, reviewed my case attentively, and made me feel comfortable throughout the consultation. I truly appreciated the level of care and attention she provided. Unfortunately, after my appointment with Dr. Patel, everything started going downhill. I was told that a financial coordinator would contact me after my visit, but after more than a month, I still had not received a call. Then another person contacted me to schedule testing, but I was never clearly informed which tests I actually needed. Dr. Patel had explained that I might only need a few tests, yet the coordinator initially tried to schedule all of them. Eventually, they had to go back to the doctor to confirm which procedures were actually necessary. What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of transparency regarding costs. Nobody has been able to clearly explain the total expected expenses, which is extremely important when you are beginning a sensitive medical process that involves significant out-of-pocket costs. In addition, the billing process has been very confusing and stressful. My first visit had supposedly already been paid for, and this was confirmed twice with the doctor’s office. Despite that, I received four to five calls, texts and messages from Prelude requesting payment. Then, just a few days ago, I received another call requesting an amount that was double what I had previously been told. Dr. Patel herself is wonderful, but unfortunately the partnership and coordination with Prelude has made the overall experience feel disorganized and complicated. There seem to be too many people involved without proper communication or synchronization between them. For something this sensitive and important, patients need clarity, consistency, and confidence in the process. It’s unfortunate because the excellent care from the doctor is overshadowed by the confusion, misinformation, billing issues, and lack of coordination surrounding the rest of the experience. Before making important medical decisions, patients deserve to fully understand what they need, why they need it, and what the financial responsibilities will be.

We came to this place looking for a 2nd opinion, and without a doubt, we decided to continue here primarily because of the care & professionalism with which we were treated, & the way in which every one of our questions & concerns were addressed. Wonderful experience, Dr. Laurel, Ms. Diana are such nice and passionate people. We went in to inquiry about IVF only to find put we qualified for a study that covers the entire procedure. We are so blessed to have found this place!!

I am blown away by how amazing my new patient experience was. Dr. Chen was patient and listened to everything I wanted to say, explained everything in detail and made sure I understood it all, I never once felt rushed, I also did not feel neglected. Everybody was super nice from the moment I stepped in to the moment I walked out of the door. Dr. Chen suggested the best course of action based off of my personal situation, and the financial department explained every fee and what my specific insurance does and does not cover and was an absolute joy to talk to. Everyone I have interacted with so far has been above and beyond wonderful. I don't think I have ever had as good of an experience at a Doctor's office than I did here at the IVF Center.

I am so happy we chose this facility for our Fertility needs. From the very first phone call to all of the office appointments, everyone has been so helpful. This office is brand new and beautiful on the inside. Sierra at the front desk is so nice and helpful. Tianna was our new patient coordinator and she was overly helpful with making sure we got everything we needed done. Dr. S is very knowledgeable about what she is doing and is not pushy one way or another. I highly recommend this practice! Most of the appointments can be done in the Lake Nona office, but some have to be done in Winter Park. Winter Park has just as many friendly and helpful employees there. Thank you to all the staff in both locations for all your help and support through this process. I would definitely recommend this practice if you are looking to start your Fertility Care Journey!
