Upon coming in for our 20 week ultrasound we were told by the administrative staff that only 1 adult could enter for the exam. I missed out on finding out first hand what my 2nd born child’s gender is although another family both husband and wife came out of the back office together with ultrasound photos in hand. I also asked for immunization records for my son which they have access to in their system epic but was denied. The reason for denial was because of HIPAA. They could not give private information to us, his parents. I know UCLA can do better than this. I do not feel valued or the care we expected by choosing the 2nd largest medical group in the nation. I would not recommend this office or it’s staff. As a matter of fact the staff was more engaged on speaking about baked goods, bakeries, and what they planned on eating for almost 40 mins while we were waiting in the lobby. I’m sure they have back logged patients that possibly need verifications or insurance approvals to attend to instead of just office banter. Susie really should look up magnolia bakery so they can move forward with their daily tasks.

They did an extensive ultrasound of my wife, measuring the different body parts of our baby. The technician did the measurements and then a doctor went over the results. After the technician left the room, we waited for a while and I had to go get the doctor. There was some sort of miscommunication between the technician and the doctor which is why we were simply waiting in the room for a fairly long time. Besides that it was a good experience.
