RMA of New York – Long Island: Lake Success

During my initial assessment, I met with Dr. Zinger. His smile right away made me feel comfortable. I have never met a provider as outstanding as him. He spent almost two hours explaining the process to me. He listens and takes time to explain everything you might not understand. As he performs any procedure he communicates, and lets you know what’s going on. After my transfer, I was anxious because the nurse told me to avoid certain activities such as heavy lifting and bending. Knowing that, my job from time to time requires bending and lifting. I got worried, I discussed it with him and he reassured me that there are no activity restrictions, but I wasn't convinced. I got home feeling more anxious. I called the office talking to a nurse who transferred my message to him about a letter for me to take a week off work. To put my mind at ease 9PM he called to reassure me again. Then, I feel all my worries fading away. I like the fact that I received a call after each blood work result and the next step was explained to me. A nurse is always available to talk to you whenever you call during business hours. They are also wonderful. Shoutout to the wonderful phlebotomist especially Kavita and Nathalie. Hopefully, I get the name right. I'm not an easy stick nor a hard stick. I'm in between, many times when I went to other places. I get poked more than 2 times to get my blood drawn and some people won't listen when you tell them where they might get it. At RMA Long Island the goal for these ladies is one stick. They are also friendly, polite and simply amazing. The other wonderful thing I like about RMA IVF. No body wasting your time. You go in right away and out real fast. Many times , I arrived there I don’t even get the chance to sit down and they said we are ready for you.

The entire team always provides the best customer service and experience. Highly recommend this location.

Thanks to Dr. Zinger my husband and I successfully delivered our beautiful daughter in January after 3 years of infertility and switching fertility clinics. We are so thankful for Dr. Zinger and the lake success team.

I had a great experience with Dr. Zinger and the staff. He was very thorough, patient, and very gentle with me both physically and emotionally. As someone who has been through many OBGYNs at this point, many of who gaslit me, I’ve become very anxious and uncomfortable with exams that involve my pelvic region. He always made me feel at ease and safe. The entire staff was empathetic, kind, and supportive. I pushed off IVF for a long time because I was so convinced the journey would break me, but the attention and care I received here made it more bearable than I could’ve ever imagined and resulted in me having a healthy baby boy, thank God. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with infertility.

Dr. Zinger is truly one of the best doctors I have ever been under the care of, under any category of treatment. I usually get to see him during the week when I did bloodwork and sonograms pre-retrieval and he did one of my egg retrievals on a weekend, I was so happy. He has the best bedside manners and he truly cares for his patients. Right from the very start we did rigorous fertility and genetic tests to see what issues there were. The nurses (Danielle, Gabrielle), coordinators (Ayelet, Jackie), medical assistants (Nalini), etc are all really wonderful. We usually go to the Lake Success and Melville locations and they're equally wonderful. It's a shame that only the Melville location is open on the weekends because it's quite a way to go if you don't live in Long Island. Dr. Shenykin is a real gem at this location. I think one thing that might bother a lot of people is there is little upfront information about cost, especially if certain services aren't covered by insurance. The financial coordinator Lissette is really nice and helpful, though. I would recommend them again and again. They have moved back to their old office on the 2nd floor, room 213, which was recently renovated.
