I completed three egg freezing rounds at RMA and would strongly recommend Spring over RMA for anyone considering this process. (My insurance did not cover Spring.) One structural issue to be aware of: at RMA, you are only guaranteed your assigned doctor for the initial onboarding appointment. The physician who performs your retrieval is simply whoever is on call that day. Across my three rounds, my own doctor performed the procedure only once. My third round was the most concerning. The retrieval yielded roughly 20% of what I had obtained in each of the first two rounds. The doctor who performed the procedure noted they were surprised my trigger medication had not been adjusted and that my eggs were not ready for retrieval. I had raised exactly this concern beforehand — my ultrasound provider had indicated I likely needed an additional day of injections — but that change was never made. The care experience that day was also difficult. I felt rushed through recovery by one of the nurses (Rachel) before I was ready, and her manner felt impatient and lacking in empathy — a stark contrast to the rest of the nursing staff, who had been wonderful throughout. The procedure itself was more painful than my prior rounds because the physician attempted multiple retrievals on eggs that weren’t mature. I was dizzy on the way home and even lost consciousness. During my second round, I developed a cyst and received inconsistent information about it across different appointments — some providers said it was a cyst, others said it was not. The lack of continuity across visits made it hard to feel confident in my care. I attempted to report my experience to the clinic four times. I was told the office manager, Ingrid, would return my call. She never did. I eventually reached someone through my doctor’s financial assistant, who escalated my concerns — but when my doctor called, I didn’t feel it was appropriate to report quality-of-care issues to the very team involved. The feedback loop simply wasn’t there. For an experience that is so intimate and taxing on your body and emotions, this was an incredibly disappointing provider experience. If I didn’t need to use my insurance, I would not have used RMA.

I had my hysteroscopy today at RMA, and I truly want to express my gratitude to Dr. Kort and the entire staff. Dr. Kort was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. He came in multiple times, answered every single one of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. All of the nurses and staff were also amazing — very warm, patient, attentive, and supportive. Everyone treated me with genuine kindness and compassion, which made a stressful day so much easier. I’m very thankful for the level of care I received and highly recommend RMA to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about their patients.

Dr Noel has set such a high bar. I was working with a different clinic before RMA and the difference is night and day. At RMA, Dr. Noel and associates are actually concerned with hormones, checking them daily/as needed. The previous clinic felt more like an IUI/IVF "mill" and didn't check my hormones once, even when I tried to point out something that I thought was impacting my fertility. At RMA they took that concern of mine seriously, tested it, confirmed it and addressed it within a week or two of our initial consult. I feel so lucky to get to work with this group and Dr. Noel!

The entire team at RMA has been an absolute delight to work with—they are truly a shining star in an otherwise bleak healthcare system. While Kaiser Permanente quoted us a six-month wait just to get into their fertility clinic, RMA saw us right away. The doctors at RMA are some of the most caring and compassionate you will find. Dr. Daniel Kaser and Dr. Scott Morin have excellent bedside manner, always taking the time to listen carefully and address every question, fear, and concern. They clearly communicate proposed plans of action, giving intended parents a clear path forward during what is already an emotionally challenging journey. The nurses deserve special recognition as well—they are exceptionally caring, attentive, and responsive. Whether it was a simple question or a moment of anxiety, they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel supported. The entire RMA team was also accessible every day of the week through the Spruce app, which gave us reassurance and answers whenever we needed them. After working with RMA for more than four years, we are overjoyed to finally welcome our first child. Dr. Kaser was meticulous in his work and thoughtful in every recommendation. With RMA’s support, my wife and I navigated egg freezing, IVF, and surrogacy. Dr. Kaiser set an exceptionally high bar when it came to matching us with the best possible surrogate, which gave us the highest confidence in achieving the best possible outcome. We are deeply grateful to RMA for walking with us every step of the way and could not recommend them more highly to anyone pursuing this path.
