Dr. Schwartz is very thorough and patient. She takes her time answering your questions and explaining every detail. I cannot say this enough. We came from Pinnacle Fertility IVF1 and had the worst experience there with 2 failed IVF cycles. They did nothing to make us feel better about our situation or to find a root cause for our infertility. They are running a shop business there. At RMI, we never felt pressured into doing IVF at any point. RMI was very open about getting us all the testing done that we needed to get to the root cause of our infertility. This specific location has limited hours and services but it worked well for my husband and I. We did go to the oak Brook location a few times and we had the same great experience there. All this to say, we conceived naturally and considered high risk plus very very low AMH. We will definitely work with RMI again. I recommend Dr. Schwartz over any fertility specialist in the Naperville area (we’ve consulted with all of them).

Incredibly poor communication

Horrible communication. They rarely call but will send you a portal message 20 min before their office closes so you don't have time to ask for more information. There's no reply button on the portal message either. You have to be vigilant to understand what's going on. It feels we're left in the dark so often. Picking up prescriptions that I have no instruction for until last minute (ie take this tonight!!). Dr. Schwarz has been great but honestly haven't talked to her in over a month. They've missed orders or have been late getting orders in, which are dependent on cycle timing for female patients so timing is crucial. No one on the team (doctor or nurse) caught that my husband's labs weren't complete before our first cycle and neither of us received communication after his initial analysis that he missed something. I've already talked to the nurse coordinator Ann about my complaints and she let the team know they need to communicate better. Unfortunately, that's not just built into their structure. Very poor patient experience. Multiple portals with their quirks--the billing one has been broken more than once when I've attempted to make a payment. It's a mess. Go somewhere else.

The Reproductive Medicine Institute has been an amazing place for my fertility journey. The staff is always kind, helpful, and respectful toward patients.
