I am incredibly grateful to SRM for its high quality, specialty care following a "missed miscarriage" that left me with retained tissue that was causing fertility issues. After the miscarriage, my blood HCG was zero, and an ultrasound performed by my regular OB was all clear. However, after another month of trying, I decided to be extra proactive and contact SRM because we wanted to have a second child and I was already 42. I am so glad I did. They have the tooling, and frankly a "believe the patient" attitude, that many regular OBs do not have, and they were able to identify the retained tissue right away using a saline sonogram, which is routine for them. They then performed an operative hysteroscopy for me on the next cycle and, at my request, started me on letrozole to begin the process of insurance qualification for IVF. Thanks to all their diagnostics, I found out that I had high ovarian reserve and would have been a good candidate. That said -- and also thanks to their sensible approach -- I was able to get pregnant on letrozole alone in the second month of trying and now have a healthy and exhausting 11 month old. I am SO grateful to SRM, without whom I would likely have permanent retained tissue and uterine scarring, with all its aftereffects on fertility and overall hormonal and uterine health. After the initial clear ultrasound result, my OB at the time said "don't worry" and counseled me to try 9 more months (at age 42!) before taking further action. We are incredibly lucky to have resources of this caliber in the Seattle area, and I genuinely have no idea why anyone would review SRM negatively. The front desk staff were always proactive, helpful and friendly as well. To me, SRM provided patient-centered healthcare first, and growing our family was a lovely bonus.

This was our second time with SRM. It was an experience with a lot of emotions as I was anxious about timing and other factors. I worked with many different people to get our process started, moved along, up until I graduated. I worked with the following people: Two nurse navigators, Finance team member who helped me get approval for insurance coverage, scheduling team member who helped me schedule my appointments, in-person office team to support in-office arrivals, multiple team members in-office to draw blood, advise on next steps, separate team member who prepared me for ultrasounds, separate team member who conducted ultrasounds and advised me on results, embryologist who managed our embryo, doctor who transferred the embryo and answered all our questions and logistics teams who needed to transfer our embryo safely from a different state. It was evident to me that there was significant coordination needed between all these teams to make me and us feel valued and like our experience matter. I think these teams understand where one comes from when you arrive at a fertility clinic and what you likely has gone through already up until that point. My process wasn't perfect and when I raised my concerns, I had multiple people respond immediately and address my concerns. There were no gaps in our process as a result of my concerns. All team members treated me and us as a family like we mattered and that our outcomes were critical. It is also clear that all of these team members also have multiple patients and try to balance patient experience with their own lives. I never felt that my experience was not the number one priority. I saw the person writing that they waited 2 hours in the waiting room. I would like to encourage folks waiting to feel free to ask around. I have found that all team members at the clinic were very happy to support and answer questions right away. When I graduated I received a little gift and it was really lovely. I also continuously update the team on my pregnancy as it was really their collaborative efforts that made this possible for us. We will use them again and we are forever grateful to partner with the clinic in growing our family.

I have never had a more negative experience with any type of medical care, than when I was being seen at SRM. This facility and the providers we interacted with appeared to solely be interested in how much money they could make off of us and not our wellbeing or our fertility journey. We never had an in person meeting with our provider unless it was for testing or a procedure we received no information about. When we did meet our provider in person, to perform intense and personal testing, she did not even know who I was or that I was an assigned patient of hers that she had met on zoom previously. When we decided to proceed with specific fertility treatments, we were given no information or guidance on what to expect or how to complete certain parts (trigger shot). The promised personal contact who is supposed to be your go to contact is an utter joke. I would reach out with time sensitive questions, and not hear back in time to proceed with previously scheduled fertility treatments or would get template responses back that hadn’t been filled in. Even now, as we have moved on to a new clinic, simply the task of faxing our records to the new provider has proved impossible. Despite numerous ROI’s being signed and doing each thing SRM has asked of us in order to fax the records, they have not followed through. Our care with this clinic at one point reached such a terrible point that I was given “free” trigger shots and given what I was told was the personal number of one of their VP’s or execs. I was able to reach him for a few days and then never heard from him again after he convinced us to follow through with treatments. The staff and providers we interacted with spent no time working to build trust or make us feel like a human going through a very sensitive process. We felt that we were very much numbers in a crowd. While I’m sure we could have done more research and been less naive going into the process of fertility treatment, I wish I had seen a review like this prior to ever trusting SRM. They have set us back years in our fertility journey.

I had my egg retrieval procedure at this clinic, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. From the moment my name was called in the waiting room, Evie made me feel at ease. She brought me back, explained everything thoroughly, and was very upfront and honest throughout the process. Her kindness, friendliness, and ability to communicate clearly especially while I was feeling very nervous made such a difference from start to finish. The entire staff was amazing. Dr. Davis, who performed my procedure, came in beforehand and went over everything in detail, making sure I understood the process and asking if I had any questions. Shortly after, the anesthesiologist came in ( I do not remember his name ) and explained his role and how he planned to proceed once we were in the procedure room. I mentioned that I am claustrophobic, and he immediately reassured me and even offered to let me hold my own oxygen mask, which helped tremendously. When I walked into the procedure room, the gentleman by the back window on the left introduced himself as part of the lab, scanned my bracelet, and explained his role. Everyone in the room worked seamlessly together—strapping me in with a belt (which one of the guys jokingly compared to a Disneyland ride), keeping the mood light while remaining professional and attentive. After the procedure, I woke up quickly, and Evie was right there with juice and a snack. Dr. Davis also came in afterward to explain how many eggs were retrieved and let me know that the day of retrieval was considered Day 0, and that I’d hear more by Day 6. The next day, Evie even texted to check on me and make sure I was feeling okay, which meant so much and showed how much they truly care about their patients. This team is incredible kind, supportive, professional, and genuinely compassionate. I felt cared for every step of the way. Fun side note: the bathroom across from the office is nice and toasty—they really crank the heat in there! 😊

Dr.Lin & his team are the best. This is the second fertility clinic I went to. They are professional, competent, best of the best, very intelligent. The first one was in Michigan, and I have such a huge appreciation for what all the staff, nurses, & doctors do at SRM/ Seattle Pinnacle, ESPECIALLY after my terrible experiences at Michigan IVF/ Pinnacle. The facility is clean, beautiful, has parking, and is open on weekends. They also call & leave voice messages or can text you updates to your ivf schedule. I especially appreciate that you are never left in the dark- they update you every single step of the way & tell you what you can expect. The patient navigator will also check in with you to see how things are going, and they actually care about your well-being.
