Pinnacle Fertility Ohio – Cleveland

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with RGI Pinnacle. Although we were fortunate to have success, my review is based on the care and treatment we received, not just the outcome. Early on, you are assigned a navigator, which is a nurse you have an open text message line with during your time at the clinic. This was invaluable to us and left us with no unanswered questions at any step of the process - and we had many. Our navigator, Ashley, was beyond phenomenal and couldn't have been more helpful, responsive, or empathetic. Dr. Masaleel was our main doctor, but we also saw Dr. Zolton and Dr. Nash for certain procedures based on availability. Each of them was fantastic, and we felt very comfortable having them as part of our medical team. One thing to be aware of is that the Independence office is a monitoring satellite location, and all procedures are done at the main Akron location. This will vary depending on your treatment, but in total we wound up having about 7 appointments in Akron. The staff at both facilities across the board were wonderful. Independence is super efficient and most of my monitoring appointments were less than 15 minutes and offered at convenient times. While I can't compare our IVF experience to any of the other popular clinic choices, I'm very glad we chose Pinnacle based on both our experience and feedback we've heard from others on a similar journey. I've often seen people say that, at some clinics, you need to be a strong advocate for yourself and come armed with a lot of independent research. That was not our experience at Pinnacle. We felt very well informed, supported, and able to trust the judgment of our doctor, which was a relief during a stressful season of life. We are very grateful for the care we received and would absolutely recommend RGI Pinnacle to others going through fertility treatment.

Such an amazing experience. And my navigator Laura was seriously awesome! Always responding when I had question, having faith in a successful pregnancy. And Dr. Zolton was amazing as well! I am incredibly grateful for my experience with Dr. Nash at Pinnacle Fertility. he’s so kind, knowledgeable and talented. I also had an absolutely wonderful experience with all the nurses and admin staffs ( Cleveland & Akron location ) I have worked with along the way are very organized, compassionate and empathetic. lady! Thanks to my ultrasound tech JENNA is the sweetest person in the world and my patient care Navigator KATLYN always help me every steps of the way in this process, prompt responses whenever i need them. I had a successful transfer and enjoying my 12 weeks pregnancy today.

I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr. Zolton and the entire RGI staff. After many failed rounds of IUI and disappointing treatment and service at the clinic I made the switch to RGI and it was the best decision I ever made. The entire RGI team treated my husband and I with so much warmth and care from the very first appointment and through each treatment and round of IVF. Dr. Zolton was extremely proactive and would answer all of my questions or concerns before I even had a chance to ask. I always felt that I was listened to and cared for rather than looked at sideways if I questioned anything about my care. Having a direct line of contact to my nurse Katlin always gave me peace of mind. She was quick to answer all of my questions and would quickly find resolutions if I was facing challenges with my treatment in anyway. I am beyond grateful to RGI for my entire experience which has lead to a pregnancy that felt impossible for so long. Graduating was such a bittersweet day because I wish I could continue my care with them through my entire pregnancy! Thank you!!!!!

I sought fertility care from RGI/Pinnacle and, after an initial televisit with my physician, was directed straight to the second most expensive treatment, without barely even knowing my history. I never spoke directly with the doctor again, all communication went through nursing staff and their app, which often felt like a frustrating game of telephone rather than actual medical care. My biggest complaint is their communication. The approach frequently felt like “take this medication/supplement” with little explanation and when I asked reasonable questions about why medications/supplements were prescribed, I was met with annoyance that I was asking questions. I also requested additional lab work (which I offered to pay for out of pocket), I was met with irritation and dismissal rather than an actual discussion or explanation. We eventually stopped treatment due to increased pricing issuedby RGI/Pinnacle. When I notified them that I would not be able to afford care any longer, they should have let me know at that point that medications prescribed by them would not be refilled. I understand this is policy, however this was not communicated at that time. I am now scrambling to get this refilled from my general provider. This review is not negative because treatment was unsuccessful. Fertility care is a sensitive and emotionally vulnerable experience, and my husband and I were brand new to the process. Instead of feeling supported and informed, we often felt dismissed and irritating for asking questions. I explained my frustrations with my nurse contact multiple times, however nothing ever changed. The same lack of communication patterns continued and frustrations continued to grow. My husband and I spent the duration of our "journey" with RGI/Pinnacle feeling frustrated and alone. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend RGI/Pinnacle for fertility care and would encourage others to consider alternative providers if at all possible.
