Reviews
Wonderful experience here. Doctors and staff are great and everything is explained in a way that is easy to understand. Setting up appointments is a cakewalk.
While this clinic helped me to learn about how LT hormonal BC had affected me, I have experienced significant side effects from this clinic's prescribed 6-mo treatment, continuing now 5 mos after stopping. The side effects currently include severe adult cystic acne, thrush from treating the acne, gout (I am a young vegan in good shape) that is currently preventing me from standing/walking, depression, & other liver issues (e.g. alcohol intolerance, pain). This does not include the side effects I dealt with during treatment (worst irritability & PMS of my life, irregular periods, multiple allergic reactions). I also underwent a punch biopsy that was unrelated to the reasons for my initial visit & was inconclusive. The doctor was so caught up in tangential findings & issues that I had to remind her that my initial concerns had not been addressed. Despite all these side effects, my initial condition has not improved & has only worsened due to the new health issues. I'm sure that by the time I am healed, I will have invested thousands for nothing because of my visit to this clinic. I give two stars instead of one because of the doctor's bedside manner. Update: Still can't walk for long at 7 mos.
The “doctors” rarely have any knowledge of anything to do with infertility and mainly recommend treatments that aren’t necessary. They are ill equipped and not versed on anything with infertility. We went to a different fertility clinic which found the root of the problem as well as achieved pregnancy. turns out this clinic was completely wrong in everything they ever said and the tests they had us go through. They wasted 2 years misdiagnosing and having us go through many tests not even knowing the root issues. Do not waste your time and money.
The doctor I see is fantastic, but the support staff is really lacking. When refilling a prescription I have to call in every month to get pre authorization. You leave messages at the nurses line, but they never call you back even though they say on their voicemail within a day. I called the front desk asking to speak to the nurse, the nurse was “too busy to speak to me and told the front desk she had to punch out at 4”. I kept talking to the front desk in frustration, she said the nurse told her it could take them two weeks to get my prescription filled and that’s how it is. I told the lady that the side effects were terrible when the prescription is empty (btw my prescription is a pump application so therefore you aren’t sure when it’s getting close to empty). I didn’t swear , but I told her that this is frustrating and puts me into a state of anxiety and feeling down when the prescription is empty . She didn’t want to listen anymore and disconnected me.
Very caring and compassionate professionals. They make it easier to talk about sex health. I highly recommend them. They are booked out for 2-3 months for appointments. But well worth the time!
