OVA Health + Fertility

Dr. Amaya and OVA health are unprofessional. The first appointment was great and informative but services got worse and worse as time progressed. Dr. Amaya states that you will receive herbs for all parts of your cycle but only ever gave them to me once. In addition she always seemed lost on where I was in my cycle. After about a month and a half of me going she completely changed her hours with no warning which made scheduling almost impossible. The final straw was when I reached out multiple times to schedule a service I had already paid for and received no answer or refund. Highly recommend to not go here. Overall very disappointing experience.

Dr. Amaya took the time to truly listen to my concerns, clearly explain the process, and create a personalized treatment plan with acupuncture and medication tailored to my fertility needs. She worked diligently to help lengthen my cycle and balance my hormones. Her kindness, wisdom, and expert guidance have meant so much on my fertility journey. Love coming to Ova Health. The whole experience is wonderful, I always feel so taken care off. Dr. Zakes explains the whole process so well and changes the protocol with each appointment based on our goals. The location is very central and the office is very clean and inviting. Highly recommended for your acupuncture and health.

I have mixed reviews about this place! I signed up for six weeks I was scheduled every Thursday for 9 AM. There was not one Thursday that she was ready for me at 9 AM, I always felt like she was not gonna answer the door. I was supposed to receive herbs each week and I only received one package of herbs. She was really nice but There was no structure, Each time was different Where the needles were placed for the acupuncture and how long the needles were in for. There were a few times I felt like she forgot about me while I’m sitting in a room with a bunch of needles. She barely remembered any conversations that we had there was no consistency.

Dr. Amaya is wonderful. She is so caring and present, and never makes you feel rushed despite how busy the office can be. I’ve been seeing her for about three months, and acupuncture has been extremely effective for me — my irregular cycles have become more consistent, and the sessions are also a great way for me to relax and de-stress. I genuinely look forward to my appointments every week and am so grateful for her care.
