I received surgery from Providence in Olympia and that night I was in crazy pain even after taking the meds. I called an ambulance and they took me to the Providence ER. And put me in a corner to wait my turn, I passed out from the pain and woke up in a filthy room as the staff was taking the EKG leads off. They gave me an IV and pain meds and ice packs for the swelling. And left me there. 4 hours later I checked my self out and went to madigan hospital, I had 7 surgeons and 4 doctors look and treat me. If you think madigan is 2end rate think again. The out side hospitals are nothing but money driven garbage holes. If you want clean first class care I would recommend Madigan.

Ever since I turned 18 I’ve seen my main provider twice and I already want to switch my provider. She has been very dismissive of my issues and concerns regarding my health and today I came in wanting a dermatology referral for my contact dermatitis and wanted an actual person specialized in skin to help me but instead she just gave me a prescription for a steroid cream. Yeah let me slap on steroids on my face for two weeks only for it to come back worse like that wasn’t what happened when I first saw a doctor for my eczema

This place is a complete mess. Here are my main complaints: MHS Genesis Portal Madigan Lab OB/GYN Clinic MHS Genesis Portal: You can't send direct messages to a specific nurse or PCM for questions. There's no option to schedule future appointments. If your PCM isn’t available for the month, you’re out of luck—no way to message them for refills or concerns. You also can’t check future availability to book appointments in advance. Madigan Lab (Laboratory): I had to go multiple times because they messed up my lab results. They recently switched to a new vendor for genetic testing. I got poked twice for two separate lab requests, yet somehow, they used my blood for the same test twice—so now I have duplicate results. The lab techs all seem stressed and unhappy. It’s clear they don’t get along, and the work environment is tense. Avoid going during lunch hour—everyone comes back cranky and miserable. OB/GYN Clinic: I barely went because I refused to give birth here. When you have questions, they just push the work onto you with minimal guidance. They take forever to update your records in the MHS portal, and I have no confidence they enter the information correctly. Since they have to do it manually, expect long delays. I missed an OB appointment one day, and somehow, someone else’s lab results showed up in my MHS portal under my recent results. Final Thoughts: If you can, get approved for a civilian hospital within your network. You'll save yourself the headache.

*Dermatology center* The doctor and Nurse Laura were absolutely fantastic! I was in and out in less than an hour! Nurse Laura’s bedside manners were fantastic especially when it came to the numbing medicine. I HIGHLY recommend these ladies! 🙂

I'm a senior with a history of chronic pain, exasperated by a automobile accident on Sept 24, 2024. I received emergency care due to this incident. On a monthly basis, I renew my pain medication. Yesterday I meet with a provider who renewed my medication request and took a sincere interest concerning my medication history. Today I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. The provider who approved my prescription signed of for 20 tablets, I told the pharmacy tech that this is an error because this does not satisfy my dosage on a monthly schedule. I told the technician this is not your fault and told her I needed a supervisory review concerning this issue. Fortunately another provider corrected the error and my prescription was correctly filled. In retrospect, I'm confused, a simple review of my record would have corrected my refill issue. I understand administrative mishaps due happen, I wonder how many folks have experienced a similar situation?
