Kindbody – Hoffman Estates

I wish I could give 0 stars! My wife and I established care with KindBody after 2 missed miscarriages in 9 months a few months back. Our initial visit with Dr. Cooper and her NP was great, but was downhill since then. We were never told that if we needed procedures like (egg retrieval, embryo transfer etc.) that they are only done at their West Loop location. We live in Huntley and would have never got started with them knowing that. HUGE waste of time, the staff at the Hoffman Estates office too are not friendly at all (minus the US tech and phlebotomist who rock). Avoid this place at all costs!

Everyone at this clinic was so unbelievably kind. They held my hand through some of the hardest parts of my IVF journey & celebrated me during my success. After 4 egg retrievals & 3 embryo transfers, I finally had my miracle kindbaby in December of 2025. I plan on coming back to transfer his sibling next year! I recommend Kindbody to everyone i know facing fertility struggles.

I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. They maintained constant contact, and everyone was very helpful and kind. Previous clinics had given me no hope due to my low AMH levels. Thanks to Kindbody, I became a mother!

Update August 2025: Thanks to Dr Jeelani and the staff at KB we brought our daughter home this month. They’ve given us the greatest gift of all and we are forever grateful for them. Can’t wait to return for our sibling cycle! I switched to Kindbody from another clinic and it's the best decision I've ever made! Dr. Jeelani is the best. She gives out her number so I can text her if there is an emergency, although, I rarely need to because the rest of the staff is so thorough. Carly is my nurse and she is super informative. She makes sure I fully understand my treamtment plan and allows me to ask all my questions and provides thorough responses. Also very quick to respond when I send messages through the portal. If Carly is out the other nurses pick up and all have been fantastic! I have met with Dr. Jeelani's PA, Morgan, as well. She is also extremely knowledgeable and great to work with! The front desk staff, lab tech and ultrasound tech are all very professional and helpful. Melinda in billing has been amazing at answering my billing questions! I can't say enough good things about my experience thus far! I appreciate my care team so much. It is nice to have a team backing me that I fully trust. I am still in the middle of my journey, and regardless of what happens, I truly feel that my best interest is top priority with the team I have worked with at Kindbody.

My doctor (Dr. Beltsos) and my nurse were very caring and nice, however my overall experience was frustrating. My first transfer was canceled only a couple days beforehand after taking medications and doing injections for days because they overlooked lab results. They had the results, sat on them for days to weeks, and then canceled my transfer when they finally looked at them. I did appreciate their honesty in telling me that I fell through the cracks, but still, it was really tough to go through. Once I drove an hour to downtown Chicago for an appointment with my doctor, only to be told she was unavailable. Often it felt like staff didn't know what was going on with my process. Medication protocols were changed after I already started the initial plan. The final frustration was poor communication about pricing. The financial navigator was very nice (although it took many phone calls and multiple texts to my doctor to get ahold of someone) and did agree that the communication was not clear, but ultimately told me I still have to pay. The IVF process is so complicated and draining, it would be nice if communication about pricing was not a puzzle. I have heard of similar frustrations with other clinics, so I think some of this is just par for the course, unfortunately.
