This journey has definitely not been easy, and it’s not over for my husband and I yet, but Regina (nurse) and Jocelyn (phlebotomist) have been so supportive through it all. I’m not quite sure where the next road is for our journey to parenthood, but I’m grateful that these two incredibly supportive women have been by my side this whole time. I also appreciate the ultrasound technician at Glenview (though I can’t remember her name-my apologies). Definitely a tough job she has, but she’s always been empathetic and compassionate through it all.

While we ultimately had success with this clinic, that outcome came despite the care we received, not because of it. Across multiple IVF cycles, we experienced persistent miscommunication, poor coordination, unprofessional conduct, surprise billing, and systemic disorganization that caused unnecessary stress during an already exhausting process. Serious consent failures: We explicitly declined full ICSI due to prior poor outcomes, both verbally and in signed paperwork. After pressure from the clinic, we agreed to very limited use. Even up until the OR, staff appeared unclear on the plan. We were later told that 100% of our eggs had undergone ICSI, directly contradicting our consent, then told this was a “charting error.” In fertility care, informed consent errors are not minor. Unprofessional physician conduct: Dr. Angie Beltsos frequently communicated while distracted. On one occasion, she conducted a medical FaceTime call from her car on a personal device; during the call, a child was briefly visible in the passenger seat. When we raised concerns or asked for clarification after repeated errors, responses were often defensive rather than collaborative. At one point, when asked if she had time to speak with us, she replied curtly that she was “shopping for her family.” Disorganized care and scheduling: We repeatedly arrived for appointments to find incorrect labs ordered, surprise tests added, or appointments staff could not explain. Communication between nurses was inconsistent, leading to wasted visits and confusion. Hysteroscopy scheduling and medication coordination were especially chaotic. Medication and billing issues: Guidance around Lupron Depot was contradictory, with conflicting instructions from multiple staff members and incorrect scheduling that caused missed work. The clinic also failed to pre-authorize anesthesia, resulting in a billing dispute lasting over six months, and charged for procedures (including assisted hatching) that were never agreed upon. Privacy and administrative concerns: Staff openly discussed my case in the waiting room. Additionally, despite a five-month gap between cycles, the clinic failed to notify me of a required updated physical exam until the day I was scheduled to begin stimulation while I was out of state. Fertility patients deserve precision, transparency, and respect. Unfortunately, our experience with this clinic reflected the opposite. Its size and acquisition by Kindbody have not translated into better systems or patient care. I strongly encourage prospective patients to advocate aggressively for themselves or consider clinics with stronger coordination and accountability.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and support I received from Dr. Alvarez and the entire team (especially his Nurse Michelle) at Kindbody! After struggling with fertility issues for some time, I was unsure about the road ahead, but from the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of hope and trust in their expertise. Dr. Alvarez has been nothing short of amazing throughout the entire IVF process. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but his compassionate approach made all the difference. He took the time to explain every step, answer all of my questions, and ensure that I was comfortable and well-informed. I never once felt rushed or like I was just another patient. His empathy and understanding were reassuring during an emotional and often stressful time. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with, from the nurses to the administrative team, was kind and the communication was excellent. I have unexplained infertility and after 3 failed IUIs, I was successfully pregnant on my Second IVF Transfer. I am thrilled to share that, thanks to Dr. Alvarez and the clinic, I am now pregnant! The success of our IVF journey has brought so much joy and hope, and I truly believe it’s because of the expert care and personalized treatment I received here. I will forever be grateful for Kindbody and Dr. Alvarez and their role in making our dream of becoming parents a reality.

The nurses and technicians are great! Loved my doctor although I only saw her twice at my retrieval and the embryo placement. Lot of them went through the same struggles as their patients ❤️‍🩹. As someone mentioned in their review, it was very hard to talk to someone over the phone and through the portal, also they overcharged us a few times but that wasn’t the case before they moved to a new location. I liked the old one better. They did help us and we are very grateful 🙏, we have a beautiful healthy boy who just turned 2y.
