Reviews
Pain & Saline Bubble Test. I’ve waited a long time to write this review. The saline bubble test was 9/10 painful. One of the two nurses administering the exam asked me if I took Advil prior to the appt as instructed. I did. I was covering my mouth screaming and crying during the exam. There was no concern or intervention from the nurses. Once it was over they said “take as much time as you need to get dressed”. I was on the verge of blacking out from pain, I couldn’t get up from the exam table because I felt like I was going to pass out or throw up. I stayed for another 15-20 minutes in that room just trying to wait out the shakes and nausea. No one came back into the room to check on me. I haven’t been able to go back to moving forward with fertility testing or planning. I can’t bring myself to go back into a fertility clinic. The lack of care or concern for the pain I was experiencing was… shocking, and honestly disturbing. I’ve had IUDs inserted and removed and never experienced that kind of pain. I didn’t want to share this but sharing for others before they go in for this test. I understand not everyone experiences this level of pain. Also, the least of my concern but photo included to show the rooms were dirty. But don’t worry the lobby is very trendy & instagram ready. Nothing would bring me back here.
I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Kindbody. The entire team was truly a “Kindbody girl squad” but also all scientists and extremely good at what they do! …it felt like an absolute dream team. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly smart, talented, and deeply compassionate. During what can be a vulnerable and sometimes intense process, they created such a warm, supportive environment that made all the difference. From the very beginning, I felt a genuine sense of care and connection. Instead of feeling like I was going through a sterile medical procedure, I felt welcomed like family. That level of comfort helped ease so much anxiety and allowed me to move through the process feeling calm and supported. Zoe, my coordinator, is such a sweetheart. I interacted with her constantly, and she always brought a kind, reassuring energy. Gave me lunch spot recommendations, the whole shebang. She never made me feel rushed and always made sure I felt safe and heard..I’d honestly love to pop back in just to say hi. Nurse Kaelin was absolutely amazing. She patiently answered all of my many questions (even right before my procedure!) with confidence and clarity. Her knowledge and matter-of-fact approach made me feel so informed and at ease. Dr. Pedroso is my hero. She performed my retrieval and is not only incredibly talented, but also so warm and kind. I felt completely at home in her care. and yes, I gave her a hug afterwards! Shiloh made my ultrasound appointments feel like catching up with a friend, and Shauntel brought such a lovely, easygoing energy (and has the prettiest curly hair!). Amanda at the front desk was a gem.. always helpful with scheduling and patient with every call.. even when sometimes I would call multiple times a day, lol. Jessica, my PA, was incredibly supportive during lab testing and follow-ups. She was reassuring, thorough, and kind, especially when explaining symptoms and after-care. Sarah, the anesthesiologist, went beyond to ease any fears I had about going under. Her experience and calm confidence were so reassuring. And a huge thank you to Lauren, Erin, and Taylar in embryology; you all are an amazing team behind the scenes making everything happen. there were others that interacted with, and it was wonderful. I’m so grateful to everyone at Kindbody for turning what could have been a stressful experience into something empowering, supportive, and even joyful. I felt truly cared for every step of the way.
My experience has been wonderful so far with this clinic. Something I realized is they work very hard to take things step by step with you as a patient instead of fire hosing you with tons of info. This process is complex and has many variables. I love how the doctors and staff carry you through slowly and carefully and make sure you have the most important info you need at the time you need it. They have also done an incredible job of answering any questions very quickly and even getting On the phone with me when I really needed help. I even had a doctor call me after hours during bed time to help my successfully finish an important step. All the women at this clinic are kind and supportive but also professional and efficient. Meetings and visits are quick! But there are always staff members available to take phone calls to help explain more of the process. Whenever I call their phone, someone answered. I also had no doubts of the medical abilities of this clinic. They gave me great expectations and have really helped me feel like this process is possible when I thought it was not. Highly recommend this place and am still in the process of finishing my treatment but have no regrets so far. Thank you Kindbody team!
I’m torn writing this review, as Kindbody gave me two beautiful boys via IVF. Their clinical team was wonderful and supportive, although their physician turnover was disheartening. I had 4 different physicians at this location during my 3 year journey, which made it difficult to build any sort of rapport. Billing and administrative services were such a headache. I was billed for services that weren’t clearly communicated to me, was almost forced into paying for a whole FET out of pocket because of their delay submitting prior authorization, and most recently, just received an invoice 9 months after my last visit with their team. This added unnecessary stress in an already stressful situation. There’s definitely positive and negatives of receiving care here.
Here is a message I left for my "nurse" and the front office manager on 4/5/26, and STILL have not heard back. I hope reading this gives anyone considering Kindbody, especially if your are BIPOC and in your late 30s or early 40s, sound qualitative data in making an informed decision. "I want to be honest about something that has been weighing on me. I have been on this journey with your clinic since 2022, and at this point, I expected to feel supported, known, and genuinely cared for. Instead, I often feel like I am moving through a system rather than being held in a deeply personal and life-altering experience. This process is not just clinical for me, it is emotional, vulnerable, and significant. And yet, my experience has too often felt impersonal and transactional. There have been moments where I’ve felt overlooked, and that has made an already difficult journey feel even more isolating. It’s hard not to feel that my presence is more tied to what I contribute financially than to the care and attention I need as a patient navigating something this sensitive. I am not sharing this lightly. I am sharing it because I still want to feel confident in where I am receiving care, and right now, that confidence has been shaken. I need a more personalized, attentive, and compassionate experience moving forward, one where I feel seen, considered, and supported as an individual, not just processed through a system. I would appreciate the opportunity to have a conversation about how my care can better reflect that. Please let me know a time within the next week when we can connect to discuss specific changes and next steps. Sincerely, Alliss"
