Island Fertility

I liked meeting with Dr. Safier, however I feel like the communication is lacking. I’ve had many tests run and I feel like I only got a quick message back. I didn’t get to speak with anyone about my results or the process with my insurance company and egg freezing. I had to call the insurance company myself. This is a very overwhelming experience and I feel like I don’t have that much guidance.

I would 10000/10 recommend going to Island Fertility! My husband and I went to Dr. Trivax and he was the best! He was easy to talk to, informative, and supportive. Anytime that we needed to talk to him about questions or concerns that we had, he was only a phone call or an email away. If you want a doctor who truly cares and takes the time to get to know you and your goals, go to Dr. Trivax. Since my husband and I had such a great experience at Island Fertility, we would whole heartedly recommend going to Dr. Trivax for fertility care.

I can’t say enough great things about Island Fertility Clinic. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, professional, and truly compassionate. The entire team goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Trivax is absolutely exceptional. He genuinely takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel heard and understood. What really stands out is how deeply he cares about helping his patients, and he truly understands how hard this journey can be. He is thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable and I trust that my husband and I will be successful in starting our family soon. If you’re looking for a fertility clinic where you’ll be treated with respect, kindness, and outstanding medical care, I highly recommend Island Fertility Clinic. Dr. Trivax and his team are simply the best!

DO NOT GO HERE. They have a character count so I can't give the full review I wanted to. Suffice to say, if I could give negative stars to take away from their rating, I would. They came highly recommended to us, but they are a nightmare office. The doctors and staff are great to your face, but they don't care about you, your medical needs, your future plans for starting a family, or keeping your medical information accurate and available to you. (Which is bare bones basic for a fertility clinic, IMO) If you are plus sized, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Their anesthesiologist won't work with anyone over a certain BMI, and they make no exceptions. They tell you to lose the weight(Every. Single. Pound. Because if you are at all over, the anesthesiologist won't even meet with you.), you can go to their Albany office, or you can try to do the egg retrieval without anesthesia. They also make changing clinics the most painful process they possibly could. Like a vindictive girlfriend who refuses to give you back your sweatshirt, requesting your medical records so you don't have to start from the very beginning with somewhere else is not even worth it. Get all the test redone with your new clinic. You'll get the results faster and easier.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Trivax and Island Fertility. From the very first time we met, he made me feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. IVF can be overwhelming. It is filled with ups and downs, but he is calm, compassionate and really cares about his patients. He never rushes you, always listens, and addresses all concerns.I always felt like I was in the best possible hands.There are no words to express the gratitude we feel for him and the entire staff. Thanks to Dr. Trivax we have the family we always dreamt of.
