Illume Fertility – Stamford, CT

Their nursing staff is very nice and considered, but the people who answer the phone- supposedly the customer care team is very rude and unhelpful. The finance staff is unresponsive. So be ready to chase infinitely to get any answers!

We had a wonderful experience with this fertility clinic. The entire team was professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the process. I have been very happy with my experience with Illume. Everyone that I have come in to contact with has been friendly and professional, and I felt that I was in capable hands from the beginning. I worked primarily with Dr. Richlin who was amazing, and thorough. He really made me feel heard and took time to explain everything instead of rushing through. Illume fertility center is amazing.Dr Richlin and Dr. Witt are great. They explain everything in detail to you. Dr. Richlin takes his time and make everything so easy. He always listens to your concerns. He is the most amazing, intelligent doctor that I ever meet.All the stuff are great. I would like to include Sammy that she responses my email right away ad she is very helpful .

I had a very disappointing experience with this fertility clinic. I was never informed of the true costs in a timely manner and was repeatedly told that my treatment would be covered by insurance — which turned out not to be accurate. This caused significant financial stress and delays. The doctor also seemed very disorganized and did not clearly explain my diagnosis, treatment plan, or why I had to wait so long between steps. I often felt confused and uninformed about my own care. Additionally, I had a uterine polyp removed at this clinic, but it regrew within six months, which makes me question whether the procedure was done properly. Overall, I did not feel supported, well-informed, or confident in the care I received.
