HRC Fertility

My husband and I have spent the last two long years on our IVF journey. After going through two failed embryo transfers with my own, we decided to try the egg donor option, which was a difficult choice. Through every difficult moment, Dr. Coffler showed us so much support, guidance, and deep compassion that carried us through. From our very first consultation to the setbacks along the way, Dr. Coffler always treated us with kindness and patience that felt like a lifeline. He gave us his time, listened, answered every question, and helped us find hope in our hardest days. Our first nurse, Amy, treated us like family. She really went above and beyond with our care. When she moved, we could tell the care turnover was done well and that no shortcuts were taken. Ashley, our new nurse, knew everything about our situation. Ashley gave the same amount of care and time that Amy did. The whole team made us feel truly cared for, like family, and not just patients. These two years have tested us with ups and downs more than we thought we could bear. But with the support of the HRC SD, we never felt alone. From the warm front desk to friendly phlebotomists to the financial advisors, the whole experience has been amazing. Every interaction has been great, and everyone in the team is truly genuine and caring. We are deeply blessed to have found HRC San Diego. We will never forget the compassion they showed us through our hardest and most meaningful chapter. Our hearts are forever grateful. Thank you, HRC; you all are the best!

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful of an experience I had here but I’m going to try my best. First of all the care team has been amazing, Amy, Ashley, the girls doing blood draws, Aurora at front desk all played a huge role in the success of my journey. When I first came to Dr.Coffler I had been seen at two clinics prior and even did a round of IUI with one that ended in a devastating loss. From the moment of our first consultation he was kind, caring, and his passion for helping women become mothers is blatantly obvious to anyone who meets him. He is truly one of a kind type of doctor. After a grueling and successful round of IVF and egg retrieval I ended up with 11eggs, 7 made to blast, and 5 beautiful euploid embryos were made. After a short break to recoup and prepare my body we started my journey of FET in January, by Jan 30th I was confirmed pregnant with my miracle baby. And today I graduated from the clinic with a healthy and gorgeous little boy in my womb. Every ultrasound with Dr. Coffler was so special, his pure joy and excitement each and every time was so refreshing. He made me feel cared for, he was truly invested in my journey and I never felt like just a number to him or anyone at the clinic. I have never received such special care from any Doctor or office the way I have at HRC. Graduating and saying goodbye for now was emotional and I will forever be grateful to Dr.Coffler for his dedication to his patients. I can’t wait to bring my son in for a photo with the Dr who made it all possible! If you have been on the fence about HRC fertility San Diego let this be your sign to make the leap. My husband and I are incredibly grateful to Dr. Wittenberger and his team. He helped me complete a retrieval cycle prior to a military deployment while he was still on active duty, which meant everything to us at that stage of life. After I returned from deployment, he coordinated four frozen embryo transfers with my local providers no matter where I was stationed—from the central coast of California to the east coast. Despite the distance, he remained accessible, collaborative, and deeply invested in our success. When he retired from the Navy, we chose to transfer our remaining embryos to his private clinic because we trusted that he would be more accommodating and accessible than continuing care through the naval hospital system. Three of those transfers resulted in our three healthy, beautiful children. Dr. Wittenberger supported my desire to continue breastfeeding between pregnancies and provided thoughtful, evidence-based counseling when I wanted to pursue transfers at shorter intervals. I always felt respected, heard, and cared for—not rushed or dismissed. We quite literally have our family because of him and his team. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Words can’t describe the place HRC holds in my heart. After 6 rounds of egg retrievals at another clinic in San Diego with ZERO embryos to blast, we were recommended to try Dr. Wittenberger and his team at HRC. Our first meeting with him, he sat with us for hours and went over my entire medical history and every single failed IVF protocol that we had at the other clinic. We immediately left, knowing we were in good hands and fully trusted him and all his recommendations. He tried something different for us and really listen to our needs. For the first time we felt like someone was truly on our side and was just as invested in building our family as we were. Our first egg retrieval at HRC, we got six embryos to blast, and I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with our first child! We are forever grateful and indebted to Dr Wittenberger for the blessing and hope he has given us.

Dr. Wittenberger and his staff have been amazing throughout our whole experience with HRC. They are always warm and friendly, making you feel comfortable throughout an often uncomfortable process of trying to conceive. They are very responsive and supportive. I would like 100% recommend HRC San Diego to anyone. I have been a patient of Dr. Wittenbergers since 2019 and there are truly no words to express me and my husbands gratitude for him. He has always been incredibly supportive and kind, and given us two miracles after struggling for some time.
