This comment is very overdue but I have to write it as our experience with this clinic was extremely terrible. To start the receptionist Fatima is very loud so everyone hears what kind of tests or appointments you are getting. Whenever a nurse discuss your results they leave the door open so no respect to the patient privacy while discussing such sensitive information. As per Dr Cepeda he honestly needs to retire, the few times we've been there we had to remind him of the outcome of the last appointment as if he doesn't read his notes (if he even enter them). His receptionist Fatima seems to run the clinic and she doesn't respect him which was obvious every time he talked with her on the speaker in front of us. He was supposed to reach out to Dr Solomon to schedule a consultation and a surgery and this never happened, in fact I had to send the clinic numerous emails and they finally responded after a month, reaching them by phone is impossible especially over the weekend they never pick up or answer the phone. No transparency upfront about the cost of the tests or treatments so you only find out on the spot no matter how much the cost is. He told me form day 1 I will need IVF and didn't seem to try other approaches before this suggestion. Finally after 3 months of going back and forth I had my surgery done with Dr Solomon then we switched to RCC clinic in Mississauga and OMG it's TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE OF ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!! they were very professional, kind and caring about their patients. Dr Lam didn't push for IVF but asked to repeat all the tests and guess what, within 3 month of attending that clinic I got pregnant naturally without any invasive or costly procedures, the only cost I had was driving from Hamilton to Oakville for blood tests and Mississauga to see the Gyn but IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!! I'm due in 4 weeks and couldn't be any happier or grateful to GOD to find RCC clinic and leave the crappy NewLife clinic ALL TOGETHER. Please DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY AT NEWLIFE the way you will be treated there will be extremely condescending and mentally draining .

Hart fertility 5/5 new life fertility in Hamilton not so much 1/5! Ill say I LOVED hart. I love Dr. Cepeda. Irs the only reason I'm at newlife. Also Fatima (love her too) You can't ever get directly through to anyone. The process is different. The fees here are astronomical compared to what they were before. They charge you to monitor your cycle, HART never did. They get paid from OHIP for your visits but they gouge you with extra fees. Their IUIs are $650.00, HART was $450.00. I just can't believe the markup for Newlife. Like I said I can't give it a one because the staff I love. Elena the US tech also amazing. It's just the Company that isn't the best and their processes. Hart was so much better, more caring there, a family environment. I'll forever miss the clinic that once was that gave me two of my babies. I still come here for the staff, because they are the ones who helped me have my first two. 5stars to them. Csnt say good enough things about them.

Wouldn't recommend this place, is anyone. You can never get ahold of anyone on the phone. Everyone tells you something different. They see so many people that Dr.Cepeda can't even remember who you are, what he's diagnosed, the things he's recommended, etc. But they're quick to take your money or recommended iui/ivf without even having any answers. They give you false hope and found a lot of staff to be largely unprofessional, making snide comments, discussing exams out loud of patients, disregarding questions, etc. We were told we wouldn't get pregnant on our own and needed their help. We left, got pregnant on our own spontaneously a few months later. **EDIT I've since had my child, the reason I struggled to get pregnant was discovered during my birth. Something Dr.Cepeda should've seen when trying to perform a sonohysterogram but didn't because "I couldn't handle the pain" while I cried.

Dr. Cepeda and the staff are some of the most disorganized, rude and unprofessional people we have ever worked with. We've been patients with them since 2021, we did three IUI procedures and each time they provided no information and told us nothing was wrong, leaving us confused and lost regarding our progress or results. He often seemed confused about who we were, what we were doing and why we were there, we had to go over our entire situation with him several times. He also had no idea why we were having trouble getting pregnant and never bothered to do follow up tests or scans to figure out why. During our meetings he would call his secretary for more information and get into uncomfortable, passive aggressive, back and forth verbal exchanges right in front of us where they would blame each other for not being able to find accurate information in our file. The main secretary at the front desk in particular is consistently abrasive, short and unpleasant to talk to on top of being completely disorganized. I also observed how uncomfortable and confused she would make other clients feel by the way she would speak to them and the lack of information she would provide on multiple occasions. Her and Dr. Cepeda would often ask us to purchase or take tests or medications we had already bought or taken. It's as if they had no idea what they were doing. They seemed to have no form of organized documentation when it came to patient history and they constantly failed to communicate with each other. We applied for government funded IVF with them, but decided to go to another clinic and pay for IVF at One Fertility instead of waiting because we had no faith in their ability to help us. The experience at One Fertility was night and day. They immediately gave us tons of information and medical reasons as to why we were having trouble. They were warm, professional, organized, knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately our IVF procedure was unsuccessful. So given my wife's age we wanted to move quickly and keep trying. Hart Fertility was taken over by New Life and our funded IVF was now available so we decided to give them one more chance. We met with Dr. Cepeda again and provided the new information. He seemed annoyed but assured us we would try something different and hopefully have success this time. So we did all new tests and met with him a week later. He asked us why we were doing IVF and if we had done it before. This was after having an hour long conversation with him a week prior and after doing 3 IUI's with him over a span of several years, so at this point we were both furious and wondering if he was completely senile. We lost all faith in Dr. Cepeda and the staff at the Hamilton location and immediately requested a transfer to the Burlington or Mississauga location, and let me tell you... The difference between those locations and Hamilton is jarring. The staff are completely organized, professional and communicative, Dr. Soliman is extremely knowledgeable and the entire experience has actually re-instilled our confidence in New Life and their ability to help us. My wife and I have suffered a long nightmare of a fertility journey that has cost us nearly $80,000 in addition to all the stress of medications and repeated failures. Dr. Cepeda and his staff have only made that experience substantially more stressful, difficult, frustrating and expensive due to their negligence and incompetence. I can't help but feel that we may have had earlier success, vital information and lower costs had we gone with a different fertility clinic in the first place. We will never set foot in that clinic again. They may have new branding but the staff has not changed and I strongly advise that you don't even think about going there.

Avoid this clinic. While the staff is nice, they do not communicate AT ALL. I was told to book a repeat biopsy after my meds and 1 cycle. That was in December. It's been 2 cycles and still no call back and ive left 2 messages. They only called me to ask me to come in for medicated cycle monitoring, which means buying their meds to grow my follicles. (The person I spoke to said this was a routine call and that she doesn't know about my message.) Explain what good that does if my husband also has issues and he hasn't been followed up with. The doctor is nice but you have to remind him of stuff or you run the risk of double testing (I.e. he wanted to send me for an MRI.. I had already previously told him I already had one. Imagine I hadn't repeated that, I would be waiting 2+ months for an MRI!). We also dont love how quick he was to suggest IUI and IVF, especially as somone who had forgotten half the things we told him. It felt like a money grab. If thats our destiny, fine, but why not talk about all treatments and options in order? Anyways, following our results appointment with him, he told us to go to the front desk for next steps. We got to the front desk, only for the lady in scrubs to ask us what we needed as if the doctor didn't just take numerous notes for her to refer to. She just stared at us blankly until we clued her in based on the limited notes I took on my phone. Even with that, she still forgot some stuff (we got to the car and realized something was missing so we went back... thank goodness because they don't answer the phone or offer their direct extension. I even remember another couple coming in, stating they had to drive down to come ask a question because the phones were never answered!). She said she didn't give us all the information because only my husband had come up to the desk after the appointment. My husband and I both looked at each other confused. This was crazy to us seeing as we literally BOTH were just talking to her at her desk 10 minutes prior. What else? Good luck when it comes to privacy! The amount of patient information I have heard while in the waiting area because staff doesn't close doors or Fatima (I think that's the receptionist's name) is so loud when speaking to patients is insane! Lastly, We also realized that one of the male supplements the doctor kept pushing on us (versus another) was the one he participated in creating. I understand believing in your product but he kept saying the other one they had available was crap... so why carry it? Or is he biased? I know there have been success stories here, which is great (I was hopeful), but as someone that values honesty, privacy, transparency and communication, I'm not sticking around to waste time. After only 3 months (1 investigative cycle and 2 cycles of radio silence) with them, we've decided to switch clinics to Niagara Fertility in Stoney Creek. They actually answer the phone and it's not a central line. Let's see how it goes! July 2024 Update: if you switch from this clinic, good luck getting your records transferred. I hand delivered the release form in March to reception. It's July and still no records have been transferred. And yes, I've followed up via phone (main line) and email. I now have to find time to go in person. There is NO reason one should not be able to be put through to the extension of a clinic you go to or once went to. It is extremely hard to get a hold of these people, which is so frustrating. Downgrading my rating from 2 stars to 1.
