The agency wasted months of our time and thousands of dollars while providing little transparency or accountability. Even our IVF clinic has since stated that they no longer recommend this agency. Licensing and Location Genesis Rising operates primarily in Nevada but holds its business license in New York — something that was not disclosed to us before signing. Unqualified Candidate Our only requirement was for a Las Vegas-based gestational carrier. Instead, we were matched with someone who required extensive travel (flights, hotels, meals, rides, and parking). According to our IVF clinic, this person had already been screened previously and required surgery before being medically cleared. Despite that, Genesis authorized her travel and used our escrow funds for those expenses. Unauthorized Use of Funds Escrow funds were spent without our consent. When we requested clarification and documentation, our contract was abruptly terminated instead of our questions being addressed. Lack of Transparency and Shifting Terms Before signing, Genesis estimated a total cost of $110,000–$125,000. After signing, they refused to acknowledge any verbal or email discussions not written in the contract. This inconsistency, combined with unapproved charges and poor communication, caused significant stress and financial loss. Now that my journey is over and my miracle boy is here. I would like to give a sincere thank you to the most caring and amazing people part of this agency. Linzi who was freaking amazing! Every question that I ever had no matter weekend, morning, night was always answered. My coordinator Valerie was awesome. Always a text away! Cat the owner always involved and knows what’s going on. No corner left unturned. I was matched with an amazing surrogate and I am very picky! Everything was smooth from day one. I only had one embryo so I was very nervous and anxious all the time! When I began this journey, I believed whole heartedly this wasn’t just something I wanted to do but something that I was destined to do and Genesis Rising did such an amazing job by ensuring me, I would be match with someone who met the same values as me as much as their values were met equally. This was my first time so you can imagine how scary it was but I can’t even imagine doing this without Summer and my IP, for they truly did make my entire experience so at ease and comfortable. The support I received from Summer allowed me to enjoy this journey and I’m really grateful to have gone through this experience with her.
