Infertility was the hardest thing I have ever gone through, and my heart breaks reading some of these reviews by people who had hung all their hopes on DEBUSA, and for whatever reason things didn’t work out. I can only relate my own experience, which was overall a positive one. After years of failed IVF using my own eggs, my husband and I decided to look into a donor. I was 39 with endometriosis and decreased ovarian reserve, but no other known issues. We decided to use DEBUSA because we wanted the convenience of frozen eggs and we really appreciated their large selection and the live birth guaranteed plans. I was able to find a donor with similar coloring and features who was not a carrier for any of the genetic conditions tested for, and with whose profile I connected. I felt like the selection process was really intuitive, and I loved all of the information that was presented; this was a huge decision, and I felt like the tools were available to make the best choice for my husband and I. We qualified for the multi-lot refund plan, which allowed for up to four lots of eggs. We added the PGTA-tested rider for an additional fee, just for peace of mind. DEBUSA was excellent about answering all of our questions, and I really appreciated the effort they went to in order to research information to give us accurate info. However, once we were signed up, I did feel pressured to “lock in” a donor. I felt like DEBUSA really pushed the FOMO to pressure us into a selection quickly. One thing I did not realize was that once we chose a donor, even before eggs shipped, we weren’t able to view any of the other donors we had saved under favorites, so I would caution anyone to really be certain before you lock in your selection. There is no “shopping around.” They also were kind of pushy about receiving the payment, even though we sent the wire transfer the next day. I had already received a call the next morning reminding me to submit payment, which I felt was a little over the top. We received a lot of seven eggs. All oocytes thawed, five fertilized, and we ended up with one day 5 3BB blastocyst and one day six 6BB blastocyst from the first lot. Both were sent for PGT-A testing, and both came back euploid. We transferred the day 5 3BB, and I gave birth to a girl in February 2026. We still have the day 6 6BB in cryopreservation. Our maternal fetal medicine specialist diagnosed our baby with a VSD during our fetal echo, which was confirmed after our daughter’s birth. Thankfully, it is mild, and doctors expect it to close on its own, but I did notify DEBUSA after our daughter’s birth of her condition. They followed up with a geneticist, which I really appreciated. Overall, we had a really good experience with DEBUSA, and I can’t imagine life without our daughter. We love her more than life, and I’m very thankful to DEBUSA for providing us with the opportunity to create a family, and for their refund plans, which really took away a lot of the stress for us after so many failed IVF attempts on our own.

We purchased the single egg lot through Progyny and unfortunately its been a nightmare. 3 made it to blast, my clinic graded our embryos BB, BC & BC. My Dr believes the embryos are graded low because of the low quality eggs purchased from DEB. It was a bad batch of eggs, he says. What a huge disappointment, sadness, anger, and a waste of time and money. In the beginning of the process we were so excited using donor eggs and thought we would get pregnant easily since I'm perfectly healthy and my lab results are all normal. Unfortunately I miscarried the embryo graded BB and on the second transfer the BC graded embryos failed to implant. My Dr does not recommend me to transfer the last poor graded embryo because he says I would be wasting my time and money transferring this embryo. I feel like DEB has failed us in so many ways and also robbed us from our dreams in becoming parents. This experience has left us emotionally draining physically and mentally. I feel like my dreams of becoming a mother has shattered since this was our only opportunity in becoming a parents. My clinic has reached out to DEB to inform them of the low quality eggs we've purchased from them that resulted in poorly graded embryos but has not heard back from anyone as of yet. Those who are seeking donor eggs from DEB, my advice to you is to RUN RUN RUN. They will rob you from your money and send you bad batches of eggs. Let my experience be a lessoned learned to you. Nobody deserves to be in my situation.

Money grabbers. They like to get you with the fine print. We did the guaranteed live birth and it just didn't work out. Our doctor wrote a note stating it was physically impossible to have a child but they force use to either "voluntarily" withdraw or try multiple more times (we did 3 of 6 tries before our doctor recommended not moving forward). DEB would rather us waste more time and mental health/sanity than just do the right thing. Beware.

Purchased a lot of 7 eggs. We got two embryos that we decided not to test due to the donors young age as well as my partner being in excellent health. Unfortunately, the first transfer ended in a chemical and we were crushed. I took some time to regroup. I had extensive surgery to remove my severe endometriosis and switched back to my original clinic. With our final embryo I gave birth to our beautiful girl just 7 weeks ago. I’m truly grateful to the Donor Egg Bank.

We purchased two cohorts of eggs (7 eggs per cohort) in March 2022. I fell in love with the donor and Donor Egg Bank cohorts were more affordable than the competition at that time. My partner purchased two cohorts from Fairfax and paid 5k more (granted he did get two more eggs than I did for that price). We halted delivery to our clinic and when we tried to get them shipped a few days later we encountered some hiccups, mainly miscommunication on shipping. It eventually was resolved. 14 eggs were thawed and 13 survived. 9 eggs were fertilized and (2) day 6 blastocysts were PGT-A tested in July 2022. Both ended up being PGT-A normal embryos (4AA boy & 4CC girl). Donor Egg Bank promised one blastocyst per cohort and they fulfilled that promise! We transferred the boy first due to the quality. And here he is! Born on the day of love, February 14th! 💕❤️ He is just perfect! Our dreams have come true! ✨💚
