I am very surprised by all of the unfavorable reviews on here. I’ve had the most incredible experience. Dr. Chung is phenomenal. Her fellow is amazing. The staff Are exceptional. I have had eight back to back pregnancy losses, including a 24 week stillborn and a 13 week miscarriage. I am 42 and time is of the essence. This is a very sensitive Situation and everything from scheduling, to coverage, to a plan of attack has been flawless. Please do not let the reviews sway you, I am telling you this place is wonderful. And just as a sidenote, I am a tremendous advocate for myself, a bit of a control freak, and highly educated. I have high expectations in this place has met every single one of them and exceeded beyond..

Horrible place! It doesn’t deserve a star. Extremely incompetent staff! They lack communication… they lack respect and consideration for people’s time, money, mental and emotional well being… they don’t care how their inaction affects and negatively impacts people’s personal lives. Twice now they have dropped the ball… and make excuses instead of owning up to their failures… 4 months ago they failed to confirm and ensure my husband’s VA approval was in good standing, failed to communicate to me that it was not in good standing, especially when I asked them specifically to provide details and clarification regarding what we need to do on our end. I even asked if they could make sure VA approval is good and that they have it on file, and they told me we were all good to go. And then today it happened again 🙁 Is it still a mistake when it happens again and again? Then have the audacity to tell me “we understand..” when clearly they do not… they don’t understand the emotional distress they put me through each time. They pretend to listen but they don’t care… their actions/inactions speaks volumes about how little they care about us every time we go in for treatment.

UW hospital & clinics have helped me many times, & done fantastically. They fixed a bad ACL/MCL knee graph I got at orthopedic specialist of Seattle, not only did they diagnose how poorly it was done but also fixed it perfectly. I also had a life threatening miscarriage I was hospitalized for at UW emergency hospital, weeks later got a DNC from the UW women’s clinic. I received a damaging & painful test from Seattle reproductive medicine & the UW women’s clinic helped me get through it mentally. I also got a surgery for a broken arm from snowboarding & UW did fantastic for me. The communication isn’t the easiest as they a large facility/faculty, however they have never lead me in the wrong direction & always been compassionate regarding diagnosis/recovery. I’m currently receiving IVF treatment from UW reproductive clinic, they’ve been great.

I was a transfer from SRM, after lots of issues with their billing and staff. I was completely blown away by the care and attention that I received at UW fertility. It was night and day, honestly. I’m shocked at the reviews complaining about billing because I thought it went flawlessly, compared to other clinics. Maybe I just got lucky? At UW, I didn’t feel like just a number. Every appointment I had in person, I felt well cared for and like all of my needs and issues were listened to and taken care of. When I finally got pregnant and the baby stuck, I felt like my care team genuinely were cheering for me, and they even checked in a few times during my pregnancy and that just meant the world. I was honestly kind of sad to graduate to another clinic once baby was confirmed growing and healthy. I credit Emalee and Mary with the birth of our healthy rainbow baby. We will absolutely be back if we decide to grow our family again. Can’t thank ya’ll enough.

UW is the only place that will work with anyone who has a higher BMI, so they are my only option for WA. I was initially frustrated as it took me about 6 months to get in because they were full. Once I got it, I have been pretty happy with UW. I am still undergoing IVF after a couple of tries, Dr. Chung has been amazing throughout the experience. She listens when I advocate for myself, and is always open to changes that we both think I could benefit from. The Finance team has made some changes, that seem to be going better, then they were before. Still working through some insurance items, but they are not dodging my calls anymore. My other feedback is sometimes it takes a little longer than I would like to get a response from the care team, when I'm in the middle of an IVF cycle or just about to start. At the end of the day, they have responded in time and I haven't had any major issues. I wanted to share my feedback, bc there has been a lot of negative feedback lately. They are not all about profit and numbers like other clinics (PNWF, SRM), and have had more empathy which I appreciate.
