Highly recommend cooperation fertility clinic! I’ve send multiple friends there and they’ve given great service! This is the best fertility clinic in Texas!

I began my IVF journey in 2024 (age 33), I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis and my IVF success rate was estimated to be around 40%. After my egg retrieval, I had 4 viable embryos for a transfer. We did suppression for my endometriosis for 3 months, and in January of 2025 I had my first embryo transfer. Although my HCG levels were reading high and continued to advance, repeat ultrasounds showed no gestational sac. It appears that the embryo did not develop into a viable pregnancy (5AA). I then proceeded to schedule a second embryo transfer in May of 2025. That transfer resulted in a viable pregnancy, and I gave birth to my son in January of this year. I am grateful to the El Paso team, Katie and Alicia are awesome! I needed very straightforward responses and answers during my IVF journey. I believe Caperton was the right choice for my journey, and Doctor Caperton diagnosed my endometriosis before testing for it (in 2022 I had gone to a regular OBGYN and had testing but was told that I had no endometriosis, and that my uterus was perfectly healthy). I had suspected that I have been suffering from endometriosis. Mom life is kicking my butt by the way… wishing all women that undergo an IVF journey success.

First met Dr. Caperton in El Paso at 35YO after TTC for over 6mo. After an HSG, got pregnant, and had a miscarriage. Diagnosed with endometriosis, was felt to be mild/moderate but for many years, as this was something that was not symptomatic for me, but was obviously causing some fertility issues. Ovarian reserve was good. I remember he discussed the different options for me and recommended IVF as the most definitive treatment. He said he was not so much concerned about the first baby, as he was for me having a second, as I shared that we wanted at least two if possible. I thought he was a little crazy and I did not pursue it at that time as It was hard to do this with the necessary finances, and felt my body demonstrated that I could get pregnant. 2 years later, we had a child without fertility treatments. After trying again for over 2 years after giving birth, and as I approached 40, We decided to pursue IVF in 2025. turns out he was right 😅 . I have seen some negative reviews involving the genetic test pga testing through Progenesis, not sure if they have since changed the process, but Caperton was not involved in the genetic testing as it is a separate company that they use. About 1 week after egg retrieval I received a consent form emailed to me from Progenesis, you could also go to the portal to fill it out. Once I completed this, it took over one month for results due to Thanksgiving, but I called the Progenesis lab myself to check on updates, and they were able to give me updates immediately and it was a non issue. When the results were done, they were able to let me know this, and then had me contact Caperton’s office to give me the results, and the office responded that day with the results. One of my embryos was inconclusive, this was resent for testing in January, and it was the same process once again. I was told what my protocol would be, and due to the endometriosis he actually recommended a 3 month prep time. I also did the acupuncture, which was offered to be done at the Albuquerque clinic immediately before and after transfer the transfer. This was not pushed on me, however, after doing some research, I felt that it was something I wanted to do as statistics were positive. I should say that I do have a medical/clinic background, so I think this helped make the process overall more manageable mentally. For instance, other people calling and calling the doctors office for genetic testing results and getting upset at perceived delays, instead of calling the genetics testing lab directly. I will say that Dr. Caperton is very straightforward, to the point, and if you are looking for someone to sugarcoat things for you, maybe see one of the other physicians at their clinic instead. Dr. Caperton was never disrespectful, but I could see how being very honest/blunt could rub some people the wrong way when discussing infertility. I last had an appointment with him in May 2025, when I decided to pursue ivf. I never had another appointment with him after that, as he is primarily in Albuquerque. All my care has been mostly done at the El Paso clinic, where I was taken cared of by his El Paso staff and his PA, Sabrina, who did a phenomenal job. My egg retrieval (Nov 25) and transfer (April 26) were performed by Dr. Raff. Honestly, I am very fortunate, especially with my age (40!) that everything has been going as well as it possibly could. I graduated from the fertility clinic recently and will be following up with my OB at age 41 years old, and 12 weeks pregnant! I am very grateful and thankful to Dr. Caperton, Sabrina, and staff for all their help! I recommend Caperton Fertility, and who knows, may possibly be using them again in the future!

Our family will always be grateful to Dr. Caperton and his team! We are so grateful to say that we were successful on our first try with one round of IVF and live birth with the first transfer! (Not sure how common this is, but I am happy to report this from the top of the world!) With a lot of love and a little science, we gave birth to our beautiful baby boy in March 2024 💕! Update: I am currently on my second pregnancy with my second embryo transfer with Dr. Caperton. New baby coming March 2026!
