Reviews
I had to make a very difficult decision for myself to go forward with a procedure. However, I must admit a scary and vulnerable situation soon turned into an experience where I could look back on that time with happy tears - the level of professionalism and compassion the team has here. They all felt like long lost sisters. I was fortunate to have support from my family however I will say for anyone who could have 0 support going in - these people truly bring forth their absolute efforts and try their hardest to ensure you are softly reminded your voice is heard, that your feelings matter, that your pain is validated - whatever you may need - to the best of their ability they will come through. Every single encounter and interaction I had on the two days I attended I will remember for the rest of my life. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, social worker, doctor Bartz, I dont want to leave anyone out - the entire floor - pure angels - BWH is SO fortunate to have this staff. Anyone who is in a position of termination of pregnancy - you will never question for a second why you came to this practice
Dr. Clapp and the nurses at the Women’s Center have been the most amazing group of healthcare workers that I have ever met! I am so thankful for them and could not ask for a better team!
My body THEIR CHOICE: Dr. Ginsburg pretended to listen at our first appointment when I discussed my medical history/trauma with all the health issues I incurred from listening to doctors and not myself. I am a diabetic as a result of an immunization pushed on me and wanted to seek her assistance with a more natural approach to getting pregnant. She lead us to believe that she would assist with a non-hormone approach as I am chemically sensitive and do not do well with hormonal medications. After 6 months of doing everything she asked of me and my husband, we had an appointment today. She “presented” my case to her colleagues and it was evident she did not read my medical history or express valid concerns for traditional IVF to them. She and her team would rather expose me to a plethora of hormonal medications than do a more natural approach for concern of multiple egg collection during natural IVF. Apparently all the doctors know MY BODY better than me, as they denied me the RIGHT as a patient to choose my care. Either I could take the hormones and put myself at risk or they would not help me. There was NO CHOICE for my care, only an ultimatum which wasn’t justified, as many times traditional IVF involves multiple collections. This physician also gave us a referral to another clinic, which my husband and I told her at our first appointment wanted to do an egg collection without anesthesia. Dr. Ginsburg DOES NOT listen to her patients. She does not consider the hippocratic oath she took to do no harm. It would be putting me the patient at risk to do traditional IVF, but she honestly had no empathy and did not care. Anyone looking for a physician/practice that truly cares for the well being of their patients, seek an alternative provider/practice, as this establishment DOES NOT care about what’s best for the patient.
I was referred to a doctor there and I called the same day I received the information. The receptionist was very welcoming, nice, and answered whatever questions I had. The availability was super fast. Literally within a week of my first call. I love that they have a lot options for you. My OBGYN spoke very highly of Dr.Clapp. I am excited to get this process started.
Had the most amazing experience doing IVF here. I've been to a few other local IVF clinics (as an egg donor) but when my husband and I realized we needed to do IVF to start our family I knew Brigham was where I wanted to go. I have been lucky enough to work with a few different doctors here (I needed surgery prior to starting IVF). Every Doctor has been amazing, compassionate, and thorough with explaining every step of the way. The primary Doctor I worked with was Dr. Hornstein, who I cannot say enough good things about. I delivered at a different hospital closer to home and Dr Hornstein even checked in afterwards to ensure everything was going good with baby. We are set to do another transfer in Jan for baby #2!
