I had an absolutely amazing visit at Ascenion Saint Agnes. All of the staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Mary Ann Sorra was absolutely amazing. All of my questions were answered clearly and I was grateful to the attentiveness and kindness I was shown during my visit. Dr. Sorra even gave me some additional information on how to prevent pregnancy with out pills, condoms, or iuds. My fiancé and I are both excited to look into marquette! Thank you all!!

Reception was very friendly, and my visit went quickly. However, I would love to see some weight sensitivity training in St. Agnes staff. Just an offhanded phrase (or calculating my weight gain in front of me) can be highly stressful (and ultimately counterproductive) for plus size individuals, particularly those who have struggled to recover from ED. This was just a small thing that would mean a lot to plus sized patients if improved; otherwise I love visiting this location. The Dr. makes an effort to remember me as an individual, and answer any questions that I have. It's very refreshing to be in a space that's knowledgeable of women's bodies.

My first initial visit with Dr. Sora started out well . After time has past I notice a lack of concern pertaining to conceiving. I honestly thinks she passes judgment. I just feel my last conversation with her was so heartless and shallow stating my eggs were as old as I was just shocking walking off saying im sorry . Absolutely disappointing. The only reason I became a patient my last gyn closed practice. But my dr. Last words shes over 40 and pregnant she explain to me never give up on what you want. Have faith & keep trying. Which gave me hope to move forward in the first place.

Dr. Sorra is a phenomenal doctor! I've had horrible experiences, in the past, with OB doctors and I've finally found one that I respect and feel comfortable with. I have been seeing Dr. Sorra for a little over a year now. I had a previous stillbirth and I honestly blame my previous healthcare. After searching for a while, I found Dr. Sorra, after planning another pregnancy. I am considered a "high risk" patient, so I MUST receive proper care. Dr. Sorra listened to all of my concerns, regardless how ridiculous they may be to a medical professional. She requested tons of labs and made sure I got care at a hospital (for weekly ultrasounds). To make a long story short, I had a full term delivery and my baby is healthy and happy. I owe all the success of this pregnancy to Dr. Sorra. I thank her every time I see her because I've had fertility and pregnancy complications, in past years. I now see her for my regular GYN appointments. I appreciate that she doesn't push prescriptions, as well. The front staff is great, too. Very friendly and prompt in relaying information to the doctor. I've only had one bad incident where one of the front staff members scolding me for sending an email for a document to be filled out. There must have been some miscommunication because I was told by another staff member to send the email (that's how I got the email address, in the first place). That's no fault of the doctor, however. I highly recommend Dr. Sorra for OB/GYN care. It's unfortunate she's partnered with St. Agnes because I had a bad experience with my labor there (at the hospital), while awaiting to deliver. Dr. Sorra doesn't deliver, so I had to opt for their doctors that was on call. Terrible experience there. -Melton

Dr. Sorra came highly recommended to me that she spends time getting to know her patients etc. and this was the furthest from my experience. I was looking for a new OB to get to know and build a relationship with as my husband and I begin family planning for the second time. When she walked in the room she said, “how can I help you?” I felt judged for sharing my feelings and the steps I was taking prior to even coming to see her. There were some educational moments but I certainly won’t be back. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and greeted me with a smile! Maybe your experience will be different, but it wasn’t a good experience for me.
