My husband and I just graduated from Dr. Quaas' care at SGF Solana Beach and our experience was truly outstanding. We traveled all the way from Los Angeles to San Diego for Dr. Quaas and his team - and the 2 hour drives each way were worth every minute. Dr. Quaas spent generous amounts of time with us at each visit, thoroughly explaining processes in detail and answering our questions thoughtfully, with care and compassion. When many LA doctors were quick to want to prescribe more hormones and ancillary medications and procedures, it was easy to trust in Dr. Quaas' conservative approach backed by global training and expertise at the highest level. The staff was communicative and always pleasant, and the offices are clean and fresh. We are filled with gratitude for Dr. Quaas and bursting with happiness on our journey to completing our family!

I had a truly wonderful experience freezing my eggs at Shady Grove Fertility. After hearing firsthand experiences from family and friends who went through two other highly regarded, top-tier clinics in both San Diego and Los Angeles, I can honestly say how different—and how special—Shady Grove felt. From the very beginning, I never felt like just a number. I felt seen as a person. The level of care was incredibly personal and consistent. I saw my doctor, Dr. Quaas, at every appointment, which made such a difference. It wasn’t a revolving door of different nurses, it was thoughtful, hands-on care in a smaller, more intimate office setting. One of the biggest differentiators was their guarantee of 20 eggs, which was not only reassuring but also a significant cost savings. I have not seen or heard of any other clinic in San Diego or Los Angeles offering something comparable. Dr. Quaas truly stands out, he is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely delivers on what he promises, which unfortunately wasn’t the case at other clinics I’ve seen or heard about. And the nurse practitioner (Michelle)in the office is an absolute angel—so kind, supportive, and present throughout the process. Another thing that meant a lot to me: when my twin sister froze her eggs a few years ago at a different clinic, she was made to feel “old.” I started this process just turning 40 (even older than my sister), and at Shady Grove, my age was never made to feel like a negative. That level of respect and encouragement meant everything. Overall, I would give this clinic a 10 out of 10. I’m so grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Shady Grove Fertility to anyone considering this journey.

My wife and I had an even better experience than we could have hoped for with Dr. Quass and the whole staff at SGF. They were always so kind and welcoming to us while we were there and whenever we had questions. After having a horrible experience with the first fertility place that we inquired with, this was a breath of fresh air. It was such a good experience that once we had a successful embryo transfer and had to switch to our normal OBGYN, my wife and I were very saddened to leave the care of the whole staff here. There were tears of happiness our last day there and we definitely owe them a visit to follow up! We are two weeks away from our little baby boy being here and we owe SGF in Solana Beach the biggest thank you for everything they have done for us!

We had an amazing experience at SGF. Dr. Quaas was knowledgeable, compassionate, and always open to my input. He supported trying a modified natural cycle to achieve the best lining for transfer. Nurse Natalie and Michelle were so supportive every step of the way. We’re beyond grateful to now have our baby girl from our very first transfer. We can’t thank this team enough and highly recommend them to anyone going through IVF!
