HRC Fertility

I went through multiple FET cycles at this clinic, and after three failed transfers, I no longer trusted that my care was being managed with the level of attention, organization, and oversight that IVF patients deserve. Throughout treatment, there were repeated issues involving missed or unclear instructions, forgotten bloodwork prior to transfer, inconsistent medication guidance, and errors in my treatment calendar — despite the fact that IVF protocols are entirely dependent on precise timing and coordination. I also repeatedly had to follow up myself regarding add-on treatments like intralipids because nothing felt proactively managed. The level of disorganization was honestly shocking. I was frequently left waiting in exam rooms for extended periods without updates, to the point where I had to come out and ask if someone was coming, only to be told, “oh, you’re still here? we thought you left.” After one transfer, I was instructed to keep my legs elevated for 10 minutes and told a nurse would return after setting a timer. Given prior experiences at this clinic, I set my own timer. More than 25 minutes later, nobody had returned. No one checked in. No one seemed aware I was still there. That interaction perfectly summed up my experience here: lack of follow-through, lack of communication, and lack of attention to detail during one of the most emotionally vulnerable medical experiences a person can go through. After two failed transfers with no clear explanation, I ended up being the one to suggest pursuing a hysteroscopy after doing my own research. I should not have had to push for additional investigation after repeated failed transfers. At times, it genuinely felt like I was functioning as my own case manager rather than receiving coordinated fertility care from a clinic that presents itself as a leader in this field. I constantly had to piece together important information on my own, while hoping nothing critical had been overlooked. The financial side — oh boy. I underwent a hysteroscopy after being told in writing by the clinic’s finance department that the maximum amount I would owe was $4,520. I then later received a bill for $34,100. The person providing these financial estimates has “marketing coordinator” in her email signature, which did not exactly inspire confidence that qualified financial counseling was taking place. Receiving a bill that differed by tens of thousands of dollars from what I was told in writing was beyond unacceptable. IVF is already emotionally devastating, physically exhausting, and financially draining. Patients should not also have to worry about whether instructions were missed, labs were forgotten, calendars are accurate, records will be withheld unless state law is cited, or bills will suddenly increase by tens of thousands of dollars. Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this clinic.

This time, choosing Dr. Ghadir was absolutely the best decision. He not only provided me with the optimal ovarian stimulation protocol but also performed the surgery perfectly in the end. I successfully retrieved 31 eggs. Additionally, with Thomas’s thoughtful guidance, I was able to cooperate perfectly throughout the entire process. He showed great care for me both before and after the procedure, and always replied to all my questions promptly. Overall, my experience has been excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Ghadir — he is the most experienced doctor I have ever met！

I just got my eggs frozen a week ago, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Ghadir and his team were amazing! They were extremely thorough, thoughtful, and attentive. I felt informed and supported every step of the day. I must've sent them a million emails leading up to the procedure, and they were super kind and responsive the entire team. They did a great job alleviating my concerns and I knew instantly that I'd made the right choice. Also, my nurse Ally was the absolute best and will be the future godmother of my children. That's how much of a rockstar she is! Overall 10/10! Would highly recommend.

His confidence and compassion immediately put us at ease, especially after two failed rounds at another clinic. My egg retrieval experience with Dr. Ghadir was completely different, in the best way possible. The entire team at HRC is warm, attentive, and truly makes you feel seen and cared for. Dr. VanHise and Marianne McLurkin were an incredible team. From start to finish, they made sure I felt prepared, supported, and truly cared for. They checked in regularly, listened closely to any symptoms I had, and were attentive both before and after the procedure. My egg-freezing experience felt well-managed and reassuring, and I would absolutely return when I’m ready to take the next step in my fertility journey. What stood out most was how much I learned about my body and its response to hormones. Dr. VanHise took a very educational approach during ultrasounds and while reviewing medications (explaining not just what we were doing, but why) so I felt informed at every step. When it was time for the procedure, I felt calm, ready, and confident. Marianne was such a supportive presence throughout the process. She was on top of everything, checked in often, and incredibly kind. She also explained the injections extremely well, breaking it down step-by-step until I felt completely comfortable and confident.
