Origin Sperm Bank

Origin Sperm Bank was so ridiculously unresponsive over the last 6 months it was almost a joke. In the spring I tried to call multiple times about the status of a wait list I was on. When no one picked up I tried to leave a voicemail. When I selected the number for their voicemail the line just hung up on me. This happened multiple times when I tried to call, so left a message at the main voicemail box and never heard back. They called me months later when I got to the top of the wait list, thankfully. But now that I’ve been trying to call them again, I was able to leave a couple voicemails and heard nothing. Now I’ve just seen that they’ve shut down operations as of September 1. They did not mention this on their voicemail and provided no communication of this to existing patients nor did they explain how it works if we’re on a wait list to order from another sperm bank through them. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business, it’s shocking. They’re shutting down sperm orders now but if they ever reopen or shift to doing anything else, do not go with this business for anything. Their behaviour is flippant and disrespectful, as if donor sperm isn’t needed on a timeline.

The staff is very nice. The doctor takes time to have a one on one discussion where you can ask all your questions.
