I’m currently undergoing IVF at this clinic due to secondary infertility. My experience thus far has been positive. Dr. Selub is the crème de la crème of fertility doctors in the area with her education and decades of experience! She’s very knowledgeable and keeps abreast of new research in her field. She also has a trustworthy and compassionate aura. You’ll know what I mean when you meet her. Dr.Selub is a rare person with a heart of gold. During our initial meeting, she was clear on our low chance of success, given my bloodwork results and other factors. However, we still wished to move forward. My husband and I first completed genetic testing. She then created an IVF protocol specifically tailored to me. I had 8 follicles in my left ovary and three in my right. I had frequent transvaginal ultrasounds throughout stimming to determine the growth of my follicles and whether additional medication was warranted to support additional growth. Once enough follicles had grown to a size deemed satisfactory to the doctor, I was advised to take the trigger shot. I had my egg retrieval 36 hours after the trigger shot. I was treated with compassion throughout the egg retrieval process. The sedation process felt very safe. They informed my husband that four eggs were retrieved. Debbie called me the following day (on her Saturday!) and informed me that three eggs were fertilized. About four days later, I was notified that I had two blastocysts. These were biopsied for PGT-A testing. About 2.5 weeks later, I was notified that both were chromosomally normal. My husband and I were elated! I’m 40 and will turn 41 in a few months, so I wasn't expecting these results! We originally planned on going straight to donor eggs if the first cycle did not yield good embryos. The doctor also performed a biopsy during the retrieval, and I tested positive for endometritis. I am so glad she checked because endometritis is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage. She was able to treat it with antibiotics, and I am now negative. Given my age, they suggested we bank more embryos. This clinic is far more affordable than other clinics in the area, and the doctor is the best of the best—she attended one of the best medical schools in the country, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC! She successfully competed and went through immense rigor before getting into a school of that rank. She also completed a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Duke University after specializing in OB/GYN at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. More importantly, she has decades of experience, so if things don’t go my way, I will not regret selecting this clinic. We agreed that it would be best to bank more now to improve our probability of having a baby. I start another cycle in June 2026. I hope I get more embryos that are PGT-A normal, and I pray that at least one becomes a baby. Dr. Selub and her staff have been beyond amazing thus far, and I feel immense gratitude for the care they’ve provided. Nurse Brianna is very gentle with my tiny veins and always so kind. The embryologist is highly skilled, and Amanda and Debbie are pleasant. The doctor relies on up-to-date technology, laboratory practices, and research methodology to run her practice. I feel I am getting the best at the lowest price- the only explanation is Dr. Selub’s big heart. She is providing a service to her community by providing affordable fertility treatment options. Her prices are less than half that of large-scale IVF clinics in this area! She is good at something that many need, and she makes it less burdensome and more feasible for the average person to have a baby. I am so thankful.

I had a very disappointing experience trying to schedule an initial consultation for egg freezing. I never even got the chance to see a doctor because of how poorly the scheduling process was handled. When I called, the person in charge of scheduling immediately questioned why I wanted to do IVF. I clearly explained that I was not looking to pursue IVF, but was interested in egg freezing as a proactive option for the future. Instead of listening, they spent around 10 minutes arguing with me that egg freezing is the same as IVF, which was both frustrating and unhelpful. As a potential patient, I expected basic professionalism, respect, and accurate information. This interaction alone was enough to make me decide not to move forward with the initial consultation.

We absolutely loveee this clinic! From the very beginning our experience has been amazing. What can feel like such an overwhelming and emotional process starting your fertility journey has been made so easy by this office. Dr Selub is extremely knowledgeable and reassuring, and Debbie is an absolute gem! She’s so compassionate, and always there to answer questions and calm any worries. We feel so lucky to be in such caring and capable hands already.

Dr. Selub, Debbie & the whole team are amazing. Such care, compassion, and overall commitment to their patients has us returning for a second time. First baby was born healthy and happy thanks to them and we can’t wait to start trying for our second baby. 🖤

I am so happy I found FIRST IVF in Weston! They are by far the best and most friendly fertility clinic in the South Florida area. I remember my first call with Debbie. I was so beat by the process, and she was sooo calming, reassuring, and her energy just immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. If you feel like it’s taking longer than expected to start your family, I would highly recommend reaching out to them sooner than later! They run a small operation which is exactly what I wanted. You are not just a number to them. They really listen to you, care for you, and treat you with the most kindness. The fertility journey is an emotional process, thanks to Dr. Selub, Debbie, Helen, James, Dr. Olu, and Amanda, it was way easier, and painless, than I could have expected. They run a tight organized ship, and within 3 months, I went from first consultation, to IVF, to positive pregnancy test. My family is forever grateful for the care we received. We will always hold a special place in our hearts for you! Love Cara and Josh
