Reviews
Doctors are great however the finance dept is relentless in the fact I had to pay up front before I even did my IVF cycle which wind up being a year out. And never even did an egg retrieval. I also spent almost 10 grand on medicine I never even used. The medicine then expired and I had to throw it out. After not achieving results. They continually asked for money owed for 0 results. I paid out of my pocket for almost evthg. And my insurance paid 20k for monitoring and appts. After going through a mentally challenging process. Getting calls and emails about money owed was very disheartening.
If you want to waste your time then come to them. They’re the worst office I’ve dealt with and there is absolutely no communication. I came in from another place wanting to seek better service. With that being said my wife and I already been through the process with a psychologist and I sent in the letter to them. I told them I already have a sperm vial at the old office. Today I get an email of them telling me to meet with a psychologist and to look for a sperm donor through an approved bank. We started this process before Christmas and it’s now March, we still don’t know what we’re doing or when we’re starting. I’ve called their office and left 3 voicemails within a week on the nurse’s line and no one ever called us back. I had to dial into the appointment line to speak to a human. She said she’d leave a message with the doctor with my concerns and he calls me back 2 days later. I recently got an email with instructions for steps to IVF and within that email they said that a nurse will be reaching out to me to helping me more with the process and no one has even called. How are we really supposed to know how to follow the process through an email with no actual person speaking to us to guide us? Please don’t waste your time with these people here if you really want to succeed. You will never get a return call from anyone nor will you know what to do. They’ll leave you hanging. If I could give them negative starts, I would.
Be Careful!!! First test documents are not provided for few months even after multiple calls. Not helpful and was mentioned tests are covered with our insurance when scheduling we specifically asked and they don't mention anything about preauth before and keep getting billed even though lab and hospital both are in network in the insurance and you have to pay full bills for the test even having insurance. This keeps happening even after few months after we stopped visiting the Hospital
Dr Cho is the truth. Been going to RMA for 3 years with no positive results, we decided to go to Dr Cho although he was 1 hr away from us and we had a positive experience with him with our first child. That decision to go back to him was worth it all. 3 months later, we are expecting. Just like that. Wasted so much time and money with RMA.
I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. I am grateful beyond words to Dr McGovern and his team at URA. Having done several failed rounds at a bigger, factory like clinic before coming to URA, I could instantly see the difference in care. I felt less like I was on a conveyor belt and back to being treated as a patient and a human. My treatment was a customized approach to my specific needs. The reason why I know this is because it finally worked. I have the most perfect, happy and healthy 4 month old baby. I was 44 when I walked into URA, 45 when I delivered my baby. I only say that for the other woman out there that are feeling what I was feeling at times during this process, it’s not hopeless. Dr. McGovern helped make my dream come true.
