I would start by saying , I'm so thankful to have known and had this journey with Dr. Murugappan . I believe she set the right expectations and was very friendly at the same time . Her team took extremely good care during the egg retrieval process. A special mention to nurse Mae who carefully and slowly explained the processes and guided on administering injections and refilling medicines . Communication via the Salve app was an added plus because even if they missed calls they would respond in salve sometime later . They constantly checked in with me after egg retrieval on my health and heard all my questions and concerns and helped with post operative care. I will recommend Dr.murugappan to anyone with any hesitation.

Came in with minimal knowledge about IVF/ egg freezing/ embryo freezing. Met with the doctor, whom was so knowledgeable and considerate. She gave me enough information during my consultation. Shout out to Dr. Murugappan. Throughout the whole process she has been supportive, kind, and made me feel at ease. The care team and doctor of the week was also kind and welcoming. I love their app they use to communicate. It’s confusing at first, but once you explore it, it becomes simple. I’m not a phone person because I’m on calls throughout the day, so I love that I can easily access nurses and admin through an app. They are prompt with responses within 24 hours. Even on a weekend when I reached out with concerns, they were prompt at getting back to me. The whole process went well and staff were attentive to follow up. I know there’s mixed reviews, but really just ask questions, practice patience, and speak up if you’re unhappy. It can be stressful putting your body and mind through the whole process. Last you need is more stress added.

Updated Review: Just completed Cycle #2. Extremely pleased with the result. Exceeded my expectation. I would've been happy if I'd gotten the same result as first round, but Dr.Murugappan (who took great care of me again) is a total rockstar 🙂 My care team responded to my messages promptly, including providing a doctor's note (quickly) since I wanted to pause my gym membership. The MAs and OR nurses are amazing and I like that they remember me. I was able to discuss about my financial options with the finance dept readily this time around. Thank you again, Spring Fertility. Keep up the good work! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a very positive experience at Spring. At first, I was afraid of the whole egg freezing process because I was so new to it and didn't know what to expect. A couple of my friends are going through their EF journeys as well, so I thought I should join the club (an expensive one, but worth it.) A good friend recommended Spring. I decided to go through my journey with Dr. Murugappan, who is a very kind, gentle, and warm ob/gyn. She patiently answered all my questions during the consultation. She's very understanding and accommodated me based on my situation. I really appreciated that. I like that Spring tries their best to schedule you in with the same doctor (who's been following you) to complete the ultrasounds. Moreover, the receptionists, MAs, and phlebotomists are all welcoming and friendly. Because you go in frequently for monitoring, the staffs get to know you. I hate going to the doctors myself, but I never felt treated like a number at Spring. Communication is mostly via the app. Super simple and self-explanatory. Nurses call/send messages via the app with clear medications instructions. And there are also a detailed med schedule along with supplementary videos, so you are never left in the dark. It's pretty easy to navigate. Nurses are also available on the phone if you need refills or have additional questions. They returned my call promptly. I'm also lucky Dr. Murugappan performed my surgery. During the weekends, you could end up with the doc on call. The procedure was painless thanks to propofol. I did not sleep well the night before due to anxiety, but propofol allowed me to catch up on my sleep, hehe. Before you know it, you wake up with a heating pad on your tummy along with tons of snacks. The pre-op and post-op care were excellent. I really can't think of anything negative to say. Perhaps communication from the finance dept might be a bit slow in the beginning, but after the care coordinator helped me reach out to finance, everything was smooth-sailing thereafter. Good luck on your EF journey 🙂

I had a fantastic experience with egg freezing at Spring Fertility in Sunnyvale. Every nurse and physician I encountered provided top-notch, efficient care, which always made me feel like I was in good hands. I especially loved working with Dr. Murugappan who exudes such a warm and comforting energy. I would absolutely recommend Spring to anyone considering egg freezing!

While Spring Fertility in Silicon Valley offers some standout positives, such as an excellent doctor and a beautiful clinic with a warm, supportive nursing staff, my overall experience with the clinic has been overwhelmingly frustrating. Pros: Good Doctor: Our doctor was compassionate, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely invested in our fertility journey. This made us feel confident in the medical care we were receiving. Nice Nurses: The nurses were always kind, empathetic, and approachable, making the clinical experience more bearable during an emotionally challenging time. Beautiful Clinic: The facility is modern and aesthetically pleasing, creating a comfortable environment, which is important when dealing with a stressful process. Cons: App-Based System: Everything, from scheduling to medical records, is managed through an app. While it's meant to streamline communication, it ends up being a cumbersome process. You often need to navigate multiple pages to complete a simple task, which can be very confusing and time-consuming. Finance Department: The finance team is by far the worst part of the experience. Communication is non-existent, and if you call for assistance, be prepared to leave multiple messages because they won’t call you back. This led to significant frustration, especially when there were issues with insurance processing. Insurance Issues: Despite providing our updated insurance information on time, they continued charging our old insurance, creating unnecessary delays and financial complications. The lack of communication around this issue was incredibly frustrating, especially when we repeatedly followed up. Lack of Support for Non-Medical Issues: Aside from medical care, there is virtually no one available to address administrative issues or to discuss concerns regarding the process. It feels as though you're left to navigate through a maze of disorganization without much support. In summary, although the clinical staff and the environment are commendable, the administrative and financial challenges made my experience with Spring Fertility a difficult one. I honestly feel stuck in the process, with little to no resolution from the financial team or support on non-medical issues. Given these frustrations, even with a fantastic doctor, I would advise anyone considering this clinic to explore other options. If I could go back, I would. For these reasons, I rate Spring Fertility Silicon Valley a 1/5, and that’s only due to the excellent medical staff and facility.
