We are so thankful for Dr. Morales, Dr. Shelly, and their wonderful team. We had our precious healthy little boy 03/10/25 thanks to them!!! Our journey had its ups and downs. We tried IUIs with another specialist in San Diego because we thought his bedside manner was great, but his knowledge wasn’t there. Dr Morales was straight forward from our first meeting, she knew it had to be IVF but I was in denial. She was right. She knows her stuff, she does not compromise your safety and made sure we did all the necessary testing, even if it took longer. It’s such a vulnerable process and yes I agree with some of these comments below, the communication at the office could improve. That has nothing to do with the care you receive when you are there though. It’s a busy clinic and it shows sometimes, but I don’t feel like I was a number. When it came time for retrieval Dr Shelly and the surgery team was 100% there for us, we I had emergent questions the after hours nurse was on it! When I had financial questions, they were on it! And when Dr Morales implanted our son, she was thoughtful and 100% there for us. We have a son now thanks to them, we couldn’t be happier. It’s not an easy process, but after years of the process I highly recommend Dr Morales, Dr Shelly and their team. The experience, the knowledge, the straight forwardness to get where we wanted to go, it’s priceless. We can’t be more thrilled and grateful💙💙💙💙💙

I’ve worked in the medical field for many years and have never experienced such poor service. The only kind person here is Dr. Shelly, but Dr. Morales is purely money-driven and lacks empathy. She refuses to allow direct contact and won’t respond to a single patient without additional payment. I paid for a consultation where I was misinformed, and when I reached out to the front desk with follow-up questions related to that same appointment, I was told I’d need to book and pay for another consultation. (If there are any medical negligence lawyers, please look into this clinic.) This is by far the WORST clinic I have ever visited. They reel you in with treatments, and once you’ve invested your time, you’re stuck with a provider who constantly takes without giving. The reviews speak for themselves—this place is awful. Irene, the receptionist, is probably the worst of them all and deliberately says things to frustrate patients. For example: Me: One of my consultations was cut short due to a disconnection. Can you assist me with rescheduling and waiving the payment? Irene: No, you would have to pay again. A second time, I called about another issue: Me: I had my follicle count done last year, but your practice never got back to me. Can someone assist me? I don’t want to pay twice for your company’s negligence. Irene: You would have to start all over because it has been a year. She then mentioned she could transfer me to the financial department for more information—but that had nothing to do with my concern. I was also cut off during an appointment with Dr. Morales due to a poor connection. When I rescheduled, they billed my insurance over $100 twice and asked me to pay the deposit twice. On top of that, they were going through internal changes and failed to inform me of my results. I ended up going to a different fertility clinic, which was significantly better, but they advised me to stick with one provider since multiple procedures had already been performed. So, reluctantly, I returned here—only to be told that since it had been nearly a year, I would need to restart all the procedures and pay the original amount again due to their lack of organization. At this point, I may gather other patients to share their experiences and explore possible actions because this clinic should not be allowed to treat customers this way. To make matters worse, I had been communicating with Keila, who was sending me information and responding to emails—until she suddenly stopped without warning. Not even an automated message was set up to inform me of her absence. After a month of no response, I contacted the clinic again, and Irene told me: “You should just email our public email because when employees are not in the office, you won’t get a response.” That is not an acceptable way to handle customer service. If an employee is unavailable, an automated email should inform patients to reach out elsewhere. Keila was originally handling my case, so how was I supposed to know I needed to switch to a public email? This clinic is disorganized, unethical, and focused only on profit. Avoid it at all costs.

FSMG is such a compassionate, responsive, patient-centered clinic. I feel that the care I’ve received has been nothing but top notch. Dr. Médica in particular is so kind and thoughtful. I am pretty anxious about medical things and I felt confident doing the retrieval surgery because of her. She is so capable and understanding. She answers all my many questions with kindness and clarity. We delayed doing the egg retrieval process because of my anxiety around it and she was so patient with me and never pressured me. I messed up my medication and it got delayed from the pharmacy a few times- FSMG always had a solution and tried to help me. All the nurses, coordinators, receptionists, and other doctors and staff have been nothing but helpful, responsive, and kind. I am very grateful to FSMG for prioritizing my care and safety and really recommend them. I wish, if I hopefully am successful, that Dr. Médica could be my OB, that’s how much I love her. Thanks FSMG!

I strongly encourage anyone considering this facility to carefully reconsider their options. My experience has been deeply disappointing, and it's crucial to recognize that genuine, personalized care is essential. Despite Dr. Shelly's polite demeanor, it became clear that her engagement lacked sincerity and commitment. This facility does not prioritize meaningful interaction or individualized support. For your well-being and satisfaction, seek out providers who are truly dedicated to listening and addressing your needs. Your time and resources are valuable—invest them in a place that genuinely cares and supports you.

Really disappointed with my experience with this location. I will start off by saying my initial consult with Dr Shelly and my first in person appointment with her went well. She’s very nice. However, my most recent experience is as follows: During my initial consult AND my ultrasound appointment (May 17 and May 28) I informed Dr Shelly my husband and I will be moving to the east coast July 1st and this was pretty much a one time shot before we left. She assured me at the ultrasound that everything looked good and the only thing I’ll need to do is get some new bloodwork and to call back when I start my period OR to still call if I didn’t start to do a blood test to check for pregnancy. Fast forward to June 17, I call to tell them I started on June 16th (closed on Sunday so called Monday), front desk informs me that they “see I cancelled the follow up virtual meeting and that was required to get an IUI cycle started”. So I explained that wasn’t what was said to me otherwise I would have kept the follow up. I was THEN told my Dr is on a 3 week vacation and wouldn’t be back until July 5th. I was taken aback because none of this was mentioned to me when I said on two separate occasions that we are moving July 1st and were to get in a cycle before we left…. After this very disappointing news, I was told that they would try to get me in with another doctor and to expect a call within an hour from a coordinator. It was also mentioned that if I didn’t receive a call by 1pm to give them a call. Well, 1pm rolls around and no call, so I call them and their machine answers so I had to leave a voicemail. Due to the lack of organization with information and lack of urgency to rectify the situation I will just have to miss this cycle and let this delicate situation be handled by someone else. Very disappointed.
