Shady Grove Fertility in Fairfax

In all fairness, I didn’t want to write a review based on results, so I am reviewing now while we wait. I am technically a patient at the Fredericksburg office but I had two monitoring appointments and my retrieval at Fairfax. I can’t remember the names of the two women who drew my labs but they were great and made me laugh. The lady who did my ultrasound on Saturday was very nice, thoughtful and had an excellent bedside manner. For my retrieval today, I really appreciated our nurse Michelle. She was so bubbly and full of energy which I can imagine is hard to do on a consistent basis. She made me feel comfortable. Even the staff as you walk back to the procedure wish you good luck which was thoughtful. I didn’t spend too much time with Dr. Levens, but what stuck out to me was that safety is important to him.

I have had a wonderful experience with the doctors and nurses at Shady Grove. Dr. Garde has been very supportive and informative throughout this entire process. The ultrasound tech (I wish I remembered her name) is wonderful — she has such a calming and compassionate presence that immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Levens’ calm and reassuring demeanor is incredibly welcoming, and he always took the time to answer questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. Lastly, Alice has been very responsive through the portal and has continued checking in with me after my procedure, which has meant so much. The entire team has made me feel genuinely cared for, supported, and valued throughout my experience. I look forward to working with this team to continue my fertility journey!

Their attention to detail, organization, and communication were exceptional. I never once felt rushed, confused, or overlooked. What truly sets SGF apart is their compassion. They recognize that this journey is about more than just medicine — it’s about hope, dreams, and building families. Their gentle touch, emotional support, and constant encouragement meant the world to me. Because of their dedication, expertise, and unwavering support, I am now living my lifelong dream of becoming a mother. I will be forever thankful to Dr. Garde, Danielle, and the entire SGF team for helping bring my daughter into this world. I have been working with SGF Fairfax and in Arlington and they have been phenomenal. Dr. Levens listens to our concerns, is respectful, kind and understanding. I had a sonogram with Olivia from the Arlington office and she is also wonderful to work with. She explains everything step by step and took the time after the sonogram to break down what she is interpreting. The whole team is fantastic and I look forward to our continued treatment together.
