Shady Grove Fertility in Fair Oaks

SGF Fair Oaks turned my experience around. I was previously at the Leesburg office receiving care by one of the providers and we were not a good fit. He went as far as to say "what the hell are you doing" when it came to my husband and my more patient treatment plan that was fully covered by insurance and in alignment with our personal beliefs. We were ready to leave SGF until I was connected to Julie Bobersky. She heard me out, our story, our hopes for our journey and also what we were and weren't comfortable with. She hand picked Dr. Brad Swelstad for us at FO and it could not have been a better move. Dr. Swelstad was patient, compassionate and sensitive to our goals and dreams for our family. He held our patience with care and offered support and statistics to help us feel knowledgeable and empowered. 2 short months later with a similarly simple, low tech treatment plan fully covered, we received the news that we were expecting. I share my story to hopefully embolden others to hold fast to your beliefs and what you feel comfortable with. If you are not feeling supported - hold your head up and advocate for yourself and your family. Not all providers are created the same and thankfully this practice is large enough that you too can hopefully find what you need to feel supported and cared for. FO front desk, phlebotomy team and NP ultrasound specialist were always kind, prompt, respectful and smiling. The music in the waiting room is always on point!

I cannot recommend Dr. Alexandra Gannon and her team enough. After years of trying to conceive naturally, we decided to visit SGF to learn more about IVF. While I had heard of some people not liking the scale of this clinic because it gave off a "factory feeling", that was never the case in our experience. From the very first consultation with Dr. Gannon to our very last graduation appointment, we've never felt like "just a number". Dr. Gannon truly cares about her patients and it really shows through every conversation and every interaction. She is so great at what she does and thanks to her, we've had the most positive experience at SGF. Our nurse coordinator Sophie was also spectacular -- always so warm, gentle and patient (with ALL my questions... and I had a lot). And our nurse Tiffany was also the best -- always so positive, sweet and kind. They know you by name here, they know your story and they care for you like no other doctor or nurse I've seen. We had a successful IVF transfer and graduated from SGF and I miss this core team so much. They're so amazing at their jobs and I appreciate them so much. Highly recommend requesting Dr. Gannon if you can -- she's the best.

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Gannon at Shady Grove Fertility in Fair Oaks. The care, expertise, and compassion I received from the team throughout my treatment exceeded my expectations. I would especially like to give a shout-out to my nurse, Sophie, who truly made a difference in our experience. She was there for us every step of the journey. She patiently answered countless questions, listened to our concerns, and guided us through every stage of the process. Her kindness, responsiveness, and encouragement provided tremendous comfort during a challenging time. We had the opportunity to transfer to a Shady Grove Fertility location much closer to our home, but we chose to remain at Fair Oaks, mainly because of Sophie. Knowing she would continue to be part of our care team gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. We are incredibly grateful to the entire SGF Fair Oaks team!

Feeling incredibly grateful to Shady Grove and modern medicine in helping me achieve my dream of getting pregnant at 34 after years of infertility… I can’t thank you enough. Dr Gannon, Phuong, Hillary, Megan, the ladies at the front desk who are ALWAYS smiling and so kind … Daniela, Leslie and Brenda… it was a long road but one that I know will be worth it when my baby finally gets here in November. I highly recommend Shady Grove. I never thought I’d be on this side of it after IVF and I’m just so glad I didn’t give up. Thank you Shady Grove!!!

I would give Shady Grove-Fair Oaks location 100 stars if that would be possible, infertility journey is really hard and sad most of the time, but this office always put a smile on my early morning appointments, already knew my name and treat me with kindness. They always answer my questions promptly through their portal or by phone. I graduated from the clinic yesterday and I will always be thankful for the people that I met there because they’re doing an amazing job making our dream to become a mom true! The whole team are so kind in special the front desk ladies, Lesley, Hillary, Meghan, Jullie and Dr Gannon.
