California Cryobank – New York

Very unprofessional experience at California Cryobank (369 Lexington Ave, Suite 401, NY). They invited me to start the donor process, made me wait for weeks, and then rejected me without even collecting a sample. Total waste of time and completely disrespectful. Avoid if you value your time.

Awful place. The rooms they send you to are dirty and drab, have only a single plastic chair and a TV in each one. And you may be disqualified at any time, but they have a "policy" to not inform you of why.

NOT worth the money, the samples they send are TOO small and pipettes too short, the chances of getting pregnant is ZERO if you do it at home. Perhaps at doctors better chances??? I don't know.

In a 2-3 month period i received 20-30 calls, 20-30 emails and that was off of simple request for info on their site. Their emails of course did not provide any significant information. They never got the hint when I never returned a call or answered their call. I even unsubscribed and sent an email saying to stop bothering me and the calls did not stop all the way to the last days. This is my baby's dna, her cord blood. Trust is a big part of this. I sure as hell do not trust them and encourage you not to as well. Why do you want my business so much? Especially since it comes to DNA, their behavior was sketchy at best. Like I was meat to a starved animal.

The worst place ever. Ladies at front desk seem to be friendly, smiling and joking with u. U ll fill sev applications. Then they want 1 time for test(and if its good then u get payed lol). Then u r invited for retest.(nothing specific, just regular procedure to be sure you really good lol) After retest u ll be informed that your application didnt pass and "by policy of the California Cryobank, we are unable to disclose to you the specific reason(s) why your donor application wasn't accepted" As a result they just get 2 samples of your sperm that they can use in future for free, they dont pay you at all and thats how it works. Dont let this greedy cheaters fool you.
