NP Elzbieta and Dr Carpentier guided me from preconception care to placing me in the best hands for endometriosis surgery with Dr Sticco, and now throughout pregnancy as we are expecting our first baby boy! I am forever grateful for their exceptional care and dedication to improving patient outcomes.

I spoke with the receptionist Rebeca from Giana Center over the phone. She had previously given me the Catholic Health phone number. I called back about ten minutes later to confirm something, and when she answered, she did not identify herself. When I asked if it was Rebeca, she didn’t confirm and simply replied, “How can I help?” in a curt tone. I found her response unprofessional and rude, which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope the clinic provides additional training for its front desk staff so that patients feel treated with kindness and respect.

The entire staff here at the Gianna Center especially Dr. Carpentier and Erika have been nothing but amazing. From the day I came in March 2024 until now they helped me get through a tough time and helped me where I am now to conceive a baby naturally. They have been very attentive and thorough throughout the whole process and all their support and guidance and became educated on the whole process. I am very thankful Dr. C. I highly recommend them to families or women who are going through anything they will help you. Thank you, guys, for everything.

My experience with the Gianna center was extremely upsetting. The staff was wonderful, and while Dr. Carpentier’s bedside manner was appreciated, there were inappropriate moments that were brought up. For one thing, it was intimated that a certain medication that he had available could’ve prevented several miscarriages I had. This was an inappropriate statement in my opinion, as if that were true, this medication would be widely available and taken by everyone. I was also met with discussions about politics (in particular, why Donald Trump was wonderful and responsible for certain birth control methods). Regardless of political affiliation, I do not find it appropriate to bring politics into medical conversations. I was also asked about my fertility prospects (whether I wanted more children) while sitting in the office with a newborn and dealing with some postpartum issues. I did not broach the topic independently, and found the conversation to be inappropriate considering the type of care I was seeking at the moment. He also said that my thyroid was in need of medical supplementation, while the results indicated that my thyroid was perfectly normal. Needless to say, I will not be seeking care from this provider in the near future.

I have to take the time to write a review about Dr. Carpentier. He is truly the most empathetic doctor I have ever met and sat with. He takes time to listen and educate (over an hour!) He does not make you feel rushed or like there is anywhere else he has to be. To Dr. C, for that hour, you are all that matters. Throughout my entire appointment I kept telling my husband I felt like I was in a dream. He does not dismiss your concerns or symptoms. I have been to numerous doctors who have dismissed my symptoms or concerns telling me they are not related. He is the first doctor to actually listen and confirm that they all fit together in a puzzle. He is the first doctor to treat my symptoms instead of what my previous “normal” tests showed. I would truly recommend him to any woman going through reoccurring miscarriages. For the first time in a year I see a light at the end of the tunnel for my rainbow baby. 🤍🌈
