For a specialty that relies so heavily on a monthly cycle, there is absolutely no sense of urgency at this place to help get patients to the next step of the process. I have had patient portal messages left unresponded to. Had to follow up after appointments to try and figure out next steps because they don’t take the initiative to outline them for you to keep the process moving. I called to ask them to fax my blood work to a lab and the receptionist said “we don’t have the manpower to do that right now” which is the craziest thing I have ever heard. I am looking into my options to transfer my care.

We have been with the Fertility Center at UMass for 4 years. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our time there, the quality of the staff and the genuine empathy and compassion of all. After 3 rounds of IVF, WE GOT PREGNANT! I am currently 25 weeks along with a helathy baby and cannot wait to share pictures to this team. I have to give special thanks to one of their nurses, Pauline, and their new Chief, Dr. Keefe. They made us feel heard and shared much compassion. Thank you all

Fantastic clinic and very attentive to your needs! They are no longer associated with Boston IVF and are able to now provide more personalized care. You don't feel like a number here. Dr. Keefe is very thorough and is up-to-date on all the latest data. He is with you throughout the whole process. His staff is great and understands how difficult this process can be. I am so happy with the care I received and really felt more at ease this time around.Everything is right there. From the consultations to the egg retrieval and ultrasounds. Massively convenient and really feels they are catering to each person (This is my 2nd go). I highly recommend IVF through UMASS.

This facility has made me lose hope for all other UMass hospitals. Dr. Uy said to my face "you should just relax and stop trying and it will magically happen" when it comes to infertility. Patient advocacy does not actually help patients. All doctors at this office are only there for maybe 1-2 days a week and refuse to talk to other doctors about issues so it is like starting new each appointment. I had 2 ultrasounds before an MRI was requested. I had to make several calls to even schedule an MRI. 1 week after the MRI results were posted and I had to call the office several times to then be forced to schedule an appointment to talk about the MRI results and that appointment is another week out. Its been almost 2 months since the issue was found. So happy to be transferring far away from this terrible hospital.

My husband and I did IVF about 3.5 years ago here and when we did the genetic testing they told us the embryo’s were not viable. We told them to discard them. They said they would but here we are 3.5 years later they sent me a bill for $800 for storage fees. When I called them about this they said it's because I didn't sign a consent form. Well they never called me or sent this to me. So now they keep saying I have to pay the $800 or make an appt to sign the consent form. They are ridiculous and I will never use them again
