Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Hurwitz is a great doctor, very professional and what I like about him is that he tells you how it really is. He does not sugarcoat it at all and that helped me with what I had to do.

We have had the best experience at Illume! The staff is knowledgeable, warm and calm which is so reassuring when navigating infertility. They are communicative and they always maintain patient coverage so if someone on your team is unavailable, they make sure there is a different staff member available to respond for check ins, etc!

My experience at Illume Fertility in Danbury, CT has been truly amazing. From the reception desk to the medical staff, every single person has been warm, friendly, and kind. The ladies always greet you with a smile, comfort you on some of your hardest days, and provide reassurance that everything will be okay — and that means more than they probably realize. This is my second cycle. My first round was IUI, which unfortunately was unsuccessful. I’m currently doing IVF and I’m in the retrieval stage. Throughout this entire process, my doctors, nurses, and phlebotomists have been incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and comforting. IVF can be overwhelming and emotional, but the team at Illume makes you feel supported every step of the way. I am truly grateful for the care and compassion they provide.

I had done two IUIs elsewhere and came to Illume looking for personalized, empowering care. I had had a terrible experience at another practice and didn't want to sacrifice quality of care for convenience. I spent a little over a year with Illume and had a wonderful experience. I met with all the doctors, but my favorites were Cynthia Murdock and Alexander Kucherov. They all treated me like a person and not a number, recognized that IVF is a physical and emotional rollercoaster, and adapted treatment plans to my body and goals. I was always able to be accompanied by my husband and I even brought in my grandmother and my son to some appointments, which felt amazing. They were gentle, compassionate, and communicative and I am so thankful. I also really loved and appreciated seeing Black and Brown staff as a Black woman who has experienced racism and bias many times navigating the medical system. They all took such great care of me and now I am expecting my little baby girl after four years of infertility. Thank you!
