Reviews
I had an amazing experience at this clinic. The only thing to be mindful of is that if an appointment gets cancelled, they may not always notify you, so it’s good to double-check. My experience with IUI went very smoothly. The nurse practitioner tiffany was extremely experienced, kind, and guided me very well throughout the process. I felt well supported and in good hands. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this clinic. Just follow the instructions they provide carefully, and everything will go smoothly. You’ll feel supported and positive throughout your journey
We went to San Francisco. I think the issues are a low-quality lab and poor physician oversight. We went through 2 cycles with 35+ eggs each cycle. Nothing seemed to work. The doctors blamed us. We investigated and learned that the paperwork had errors (wrong day for the trigger), the doctors made errors (poor communication), and the lab seemed to be having trouble (poor results on fertilization). Dr. Irene Moy, who runs the clinic, became defensive and scary. We switched to a real IVF clinic and they had no trouble. We did one cycle, had 35+ eggs, and ended up with 11 viable embryos. The price was about the same as Kaiser IVF. There's nothing like going with a real IVF clinic (with good doctors and a good lab)! Even if Kaiser IVF is free for you, you should seriously consider paying the extra money and going with a real IVF clinic to save the time and physical pain.
All I can say it's positive things about the Arquez facility. They know how to take care of you. All the nurses are very patient and caring. From the receptionist to the nurses they are all very kind and helpful. Made my experience very smooth. I'm very thankful for them.
I'm shocked to see so many negative reviews - I have had hugely positive experiences with dozens of people in this office - Dr. Farah-Elways, Erika, Carla, the front desk staff, the medical assistants... everyone has been kind, helpful, and understanding. I've always felt cared for and listened to. Infertility sucks, but I'm thankful I was able to be treated at this clinic with this staff.
The doctors and facilities are good but the front desk and getting an appointment is a pain in the neck or seems like pulling a tooth. For the past 9-10 months I have called them at least 20-22 times to get an appointment and NOT ONCE (I swear!) have they picked up the phone. You are FORCED to drop a voice-mail and they'll call you back ANYTIME during that day (which is good). But there's absolutely no regard or respect of your time - if you miss their call because you're a working professional and you're in a meeting - good luck! Call them > voice-mail > cycle continues. This is EXTREMELY frustrating and STRESSFUL because some appointments are super time-sensitive for a treatment. For example -you need a blood test on one exact day; you need ultrasound on one exact day; you need IUI on one exact day, etc. Do they seriously expect us working professionals to leave everything aside and be stuck to their phones ?! They really need to build some empathy, care and respect for patients who are already stressed out due to ill-health.
