We are so lucky to have a surgeon like Dr. Behbehani fighting for women with endometriosis. I had stage IV deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) and a frozen pelvis. I'm only 10 days post-op, yet I'm already amazed by how much better I feel. Given how extensive my disease was, I'm still in awe of what she was able to accomplish. Her surgical skill is truly exceptional. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Behbehani, Dixie, and Maria. Everyone in the office genuinely cares about their patients, and you can feel that from your very first interaction. My surgery was complex, and Dr. Behbehani handled it with remarkable expertise. The team also made sure my post-operative pain was well managed so I could focus on walking, recovering, and healing. I was especially touched by how understanding and supportive everyone was of my anxiety leading up to surgery. They treated me with kindness, patience, and compassion every step of the way. Dr. Behbehani changed my life. My only regret is not finding her sooner. If you're looking for an endometriosis excision surgeon, I recommend her without hesitation.

Dr. Bebehani and Dixie are the BEST! After living with what I didn't know was endometriosis for 17+ years, Dr Bebehani was the first person to take my symptoms and issues seriously. They helped make my understanding of what was going on with my body and the solutions to help address it, a reality. I appreciate that Dr. Bebehani worked with me on my timeframe, offering solutions that allowed me to make decisions when I felt ready to make them. When it became apparent that surgery was the best path forward I was confident that I was in the best care with Dr. Bebehani and Dixie. Dr. Bebehani's reputation is only surpassed by her amazing skill and talent in surgery. The concept of undergoing a total hysterectomy and endometrial excision, although frightening when first described to me, became something that I was not afraid to approach, largely due to the care and time Dixie and Dr. Bebehani took to explain and answer questions leading up to the procedure. Surgery was a breeze (at least that's the way it felt to me😁)! The nurses in pre-op all reiterated how lucky I was to have Dr. Bebehani as my surgeon! But even without their assurances I knew I was in the best hands... Literally! Recovery is going very well and I'm so excited about the next chapter living without endometrial pain and bleeding! Dr. Behbehani is the most kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor I have encountered during my endometriosis journey. From our very first consultation, she truly listened to my concerns, took my symptoms seriously, and never once made me feel dismissed. What stood out most was the level of care she provided outside of appointments. Even after my pre-op visit, when I had additional questions and concerns, she personally took the time to call me not once, but twice, to make sure I felt informed and comfortable moving forward. She never doubted my pain, even during times when I was doubting myself. On the day of surgery, she was incredibly supportive and walked me through every step of the process, helping to ease my nerves. I entered surgery completely confident I was in the best hands and this was very clear throughout the entire process. Dr. Behbehani’s expertise is exceptional, and it is matched by the genuine care and dedication she has shown me. I also want to recognize Dixie, who was wonderful throughout the entire process. She was always responsive, patient, and incredibly informative whenever I had questions before or after surgery. She took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I knew what to expect, and consistently made me feel supported and cared for. She was truly invaluable throughout this process. I am so grateful to Dr. Behbehani, Dixie, and the amazing office staff for their exceptional care, kindness, and support. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had an amazing experience today regarding a consultation for excision surgery for severe pelvic pain and endometriosis. I was impressed by all the staff who assisted me, as well as Dr. Behbehani who truly listened to all I have been through seeing multiple doctors in California and other states for over a year and half of being dismissed despite previous surgery, MRI’s, ultrasounds and pelvic physical therapy. She heard me and detailed a very specific plan. I felt hope after a very long time living in incredible pain. She not only detailed surgery but aftercare as well over the weeks of healing which is just as important. She did a thorough helpful ultrasound. Although I have had consultations from other surgeons in other states, I felt the most confidence in her extensive training and the successful surgeries she has had.

I’m so grateful I found Dr. Behbehani! From my very first consultation, the appointment was incredibly informative and worth every penny. She didn’t make me feel rushed or insecure about my fears — she listened, explained everything clearly, and I walked away feeling confident about moving forward with surgery with her. From that first visit on, she believed me and never once doubted my pain or symptoms! After countless appointments of being dismissed by other doctors — or pushed toward medication without real answers — she took the time to go through my records in detail and finally confirm my pain. If you would have told me I was going to be eager to have another surgery only six months after my previous one with my OB, I would never had believed it. As my first surgery they said they couldn’t find anything and I wasn’t diagnosed with Endo. After that surgery my symptoms significantly intensified which lead me to see Dr Behbehani. But during my consultation, I realized how knowledgeable Dr. Behbehani is about endometriosis and how confident she was in recommending surgery for the right reasons. That gave me so much trust and peace going into the process. She was reassuring, confident, and incredibly kind. She even squeezed me into her schedule so I didn’t have to keep living in pain any longer than I already had. On surgery day, the way she spoke to me as I was going under anesthesia was so comforting, and my surgical sites are tiny even though the work she did inside was extensive. My post-op care was just as thorough, and she encouraged me to reach out anytime — she even gave me her personal phone number. Her staff has also been amazing — kind, responsive, and so helpful with all of my medical and employment paperwork. I’ve always felt supported by everyone in her office. Dr. Behbehani truly is the gold standard of endometriosis excision specialists! Her skill, confidence, compassion, and belief in her patients are unmatched! I’m so thankful for the care I received with her!
